REQUEST Advice please! A great idea or absolutely horrendous?!

Post image

A colleague/friend asked me to mend their hat. It was ripped all the way up the ribbing. They really wanted visible mending but I feel I may have gone too far. They’d be too polite to say they don’t like it so I need honest opinions! Thanks.

Yeah I’m thinking a text instead of in person. Then he can think about replying without feeling under pressure. Thankyou

That's a very good idea if they're the type to be worried about seeming ungrateful or rue. ^_^ Reduces the pressure so they can really think on their response.

I feel like the multicolor bit should be both strand of the plait. But the commenter above has excellent advice--and it's a cute idea!
