PATCH Knitted some patches for my partner’s house sweater

I made him some socks with this yarn and then used the leftover for some little seed stitch patches that he sewed on.

What is a house sweater? like a pair of house slippers, you kind of wear it after work?

Exactly! It’s a sweater that’s cozy but maybe not so presentable out in public

Haha nope, but I’ll take that as a compliment. I live in the PNW :)

Maybe it’s a PNW thing, I’m in WA reading this in my house sweater.

I'm from Australia and we definitely have house jumper/shirt/pants lmao. It's just stuff you don't wear outside because it's kinda daggy, but it's cozy and comfy.

I love this! I am a beginner knitter and new to this. Do you knit the patches and then sew them on or do you somehow interweave them, if i may ask?

I knit them and then he sewed them on using embroidery thread! There are other methods like Swiss darning if you want to repair a knit object more seamlessly :)

I love the terminology! I also have warm old sweaters that I would never wear out of the house!

Is it seed stitch or purl side for the patches?
