REQUEST How to fix holes in bottom back of t shirt?
I tried sewing but I think it made it worse. What can I do here?

This is a great time to decide on a little thing you like that's an easy shape. For me and this rip, this would be a vine of grapes. So I'd use purple knit fabric and, using an embroidery hoop (not too stretched), I would repair the holes with purple and then stitch up over the runs in green threads. Use a few purple french knots to cement the grapes look.
You're never going to match blacks exactly but if that's what you want, go for it. I just tend to lean into the "oh well let's make this look on purpose then".
Snails, butterflies, grapes, corncobs, idk...an easy identifiable shape. A little bit of thread and fabric. Great!
And tbh I don't normally say this but for a tear this small in a non-structural place, you can get away with using woven fabric.
Sometimes I use fabric with monkeys or superheroes on it and stick their face in the hole so they're peeking out. That's fun.
