Revenue halved, losses doubled, CEO paid himself almost 50 million without making the company profitable.
How is it still worth more than 1 USD is surprising. I know you've bet on options, not the stock, but anyone buying the stock is LITERALLY DONATING money to the CEO at this point.

"Anyone buying the stock is LITERALLY DONATING money to the CEO at this point."
That's the point. It's just, you're supposed to make sure he knows you're doing it, so you can get your "favours" in return for your definitely-an-investment-and-not-a-bribe

Yeah, I’m think someone figured out this is all a big joke, I guess this guys (supposedly) wife posted something about her wanting to leave him after he dumped $1.2 million of his grandfathers inheritance into the stock. He keeps updating his losses, people were telling him to bail when he was down $500k. I think it’s fake.
8
u/PoutineMeInCoach Feb 25 '25
He posted live videos a month ago showing his screens. No way is it fake.
3
u/Cowsepu Feb 26 '25 edited Feb 26 '25
Someone dug into his past comments and history and proved it was fake. There was a post about it previously on wsb somewhere.
Not going to dig it up cuz I'm lazy but if anyone is interested the proof of it being fake is out there.
He is just trying to become a wsb legend and proving how easy it is to trick people.
Is what it is
Edit decided to just find it cuz whatever

The only way it’s fake is that he actually has a lot more money than this and is just losing the 1.2 million for clout. But I think it’s been pretty certified that he really has these contracts and really has lost money in this ridiculous fashion.
74
u/AqueerianCat Feb 25 '25
Folks out here losing jobs and can’t afford their bills, and you gambled away 1.2 million dollars. You had opportunities to salvage what’s left but decided not too. SMH.

Jesus. What the hell, dude? When people say things like, "bet on black," they mean put down 10k, 50k, etc. Don't put your entire fucking net worth into a meme investment.
→ More replies (1)13
u/Relevant_Anal_Cunt Feb 25 '25
This case is even worse because we all saw the ball land on black in slow-mo and told him to get his money out, as long as he had still 800k, 700k, 500k etc. left and OP was too stubborn to listen.
12
u/Rickyspoint Feb 25 '25
Naw it’s even worse, his number hit the first time he bet and instead of walking away up 500k he let it ride.
Someone like this will always lose no matter what they buy.

Like for real, gives us your take why you held on to this. You posted for over a month and everybody told you to cut your losses everytime. Your wife left you over this. What do you think will happen that it pumps to your breakeven before the 21 march ?

The solution is simple my guy. Exercise these contracts at expiration. You are entitled to to receive 165,400 shares and you will pay $40.00/share. With the premium you already paid, your effective cost/share will be $47.65.
The next step is simple. Hold these shares until DJT goes back to your break even cost of $47.65. It could happen, maybe it will never happen, but your diagnosed autism may help time pass more quickly for you, so there’s that.
There’s only one catch. When you exercise these contracts, you’ll have to pay $40/share that you agreed to pay. For 165,400 that’s only $6,616,000 USD. Make sure you have this in your account before you exercise. Good luck dipshit.
3
u/NaturallyExuberant Feb 26 '25
You used some big words here like “exercise” and “solution”. I’m not sure if this is going to get through to dipshit

OP makes terrible financial decision based on his political views.
Multiple people advise him to exit the position.
HOW CAN THIS BE HAPPENING?!?!

u/YellowRock2626 Feb 25 '25 edited Feb 26 '25
Trump has bankrupted every business he's ever started, because he's not a competent business person. He's just someone who was born to billionaire parents and had a rich dad to bail him out. What makes you think this company will be any different from the other six?

I think your username needs quotation marks around it.
Stock has been trending down since inauguration. So you had almost 2 months and still decided things were fine. Why are you surprised now?
It's hilarious that you are holding onto the stock still. And absolutely no one should feel remotely bad for this outcome considering the number of chances you had to cut your losses.

I'm bleeding red on my account right now but even I'm regarded enough to put in stop losses and know when to take the L. I hope you can eventually recover from this, or as best as possible.

If he was smart, he’d just sell and take the $18k and spend it hookers and blow. Then save whatever is left to pay his divorce lawyer.
