Better thank whoever cooked the job report numbers. Saved him from a full crash last Friday. Next months are going to include all the federal layoffs they waited till right after the job report cutoff. Still probably going to cook those numbers too but it'll be harder and harder.

For this and various other reasons it'll be hard for them to keep it up. June 17, 2025

What happens June 17?

You can't fudge federal numbers as easily as public numbers so those will be closer and it'll have some of the waves of layoffs showing up in the report. If they slow roll the public numbers to be .1% every new report it'll be around 4.5% mental threshold.

Inflation is ticking up and probably going to increase in speed. Tarrifs. This will put pressure on the FED not to drop interest rate too much to try to help the market.

Bump from companies buying up a bunch of supply to avoid tarrifs is going to be fully gone. Companies will start increasing prices(Those that haven't already).

Probably other things I'm forgetting. I actually thought it was going to be yesterday but that was working off the assumption they released the real job report numbers. Adjustment is the assumption they'll try to cook it as much as possible.

Get ready for that 4.5% and higher. DC rumor mill has 500k to 1m laid off due to DoGE.

And significantly less federal budget spending saved than if the Tesla just handed back the subsidies they get from the government.

I vividly remember there are 5 Op pieces everyday on WSJ crying how Biden is ruining US economy and market. You don’t read those type of headlines now with this administration. The status of the market was painted with less whelming languages

Yeah that job report was so weird, mass firings and we somehow came out completely okay.

Every accusation is a confession

I got confused for a moment there. I thought, wow what is this. He's admitting to these things now?? Epiphany, could it be??

Then it felt weird at the part where he blames bad leaders... "well, isn't he the president??" I thought he started pertaining to himself in the third person.

Who’s the second one though? Trump or Vance?

E-Man, we already know that the only way Vance is relevant is if Trump kicks it after one too many Big Macs.

He did say it as a statement not a question so that is a fair observation that this was his platform to run on

Yes, the leaders being him amd Musk.

Like a lot of what Trump says, he was projecting behaviour he sees as it is the behaviour he associates with.

Only to be replaced by 2 more incompetent leaders and even more not good 🤦‍♂️

It was just projection. Simple stuff. Warned my maga relatives… now I’m vacationing most of the year and they… aren’t.

I hope you aren't calling musk as a leader?
