Our president is a boy with no plan, no empathy, ego driven and surrounded by his people who will do whatever he wants. Everyone knows tariffs will not make us wealthy.

u/ranger-steven 22d ago

There is a plan. It’s just so treasonous, corrupt and stupid that people aren't really accepting the reality of what they are doing.

u/ranger-steven 22d ago

That's the half of the plan where they take the physical ownership of everything we own. The second part is where they want to leave behind all the debt they accrued as well. They think they can take everything from us, ditch all the debt, reset the economy in some techno oligarchy and get rid of 200 million Americans.

They think this is possible because they have lived extremely sheltered lives where they don't need to adhere to anything but their whims and because they are being manipulated by our enemies. They will bring down the global order and cause immense suffering because they are far dumber than they recognize and because all of our institutions have rotted through by greed and corruption.

You are unfortunately spot ON. These oligarchs live entirely in a bubble and have since birth. They’ve never experienced a day in the life of an average American. The fact that so many Americans somehow think that these billionaires actually give a shit about them, is utterly incomprehensible

u/StructureFrequent774 22d ago

What’s crazy is this doesn’t sound that crazy. But also, why are we all so paralyzed…we’re just leafs in the wind trying to get by.

Do you misspelled privateer

1

u/DieserBene 20d ago

Honestly crazy (not theoretically but practically) that privatization in Russia caused that much damage to „ordinary“ people.. I‘m not a communist but might have to accept that communism (strictly from an average personal wealth standpoint) is better for ordinary people.. That‘s a crazy realization idk

u/jbutler60 22d ago

Agree 👍

1

u/Open__Face 22d ago

I accepted it 8+ years ago, are they stupid?

1

u/digitalr3lapse 19d ago

Instead, his plan is one of two things.

1: Crash the market, buy and undo all the craziness... Profit.

2: full on oligarchy/authoritarianism.

I lean towards #1 because of how obvious he is being.. but maybe I'm just being.... Hopeful?

u/skylarmt_ 22d ago

Fun fact, I recognize the picture of Trump in the meme post. It's from the time he rawdogged staring directly at the sun despite having protective eyewear on hand.

I guess my point is he's an idiot.

6

u/snailmail24 22d ago

everytime he does something dumb his base thinks he's outsmarting everyone in 4D chess 🙄

6

u/skylarmt_ 22d ago

I gotta lie, the man does have talent. Not just anybody can manage to bankrupt a casino six times. You know, a casino, where the entire business model is literally just stealing money from people.

1

u/Ship-Submersible-B-N 22d ago

This is actually the most impressive thing he has ever done

Tariffs put up a high wall around the US economy and if you want to get through the doors you grease the palms of the doorman. Ie trump. Businesses that butter up and enrich trump will bypass tariffs. Their competition will struggle to compete.

Edit: someone asked if I thought trump was going to receive the tariff money. No. That’s not how tariffs work. However you could buy 100million of trump coin. https://amp.cnn.com/cnn/2025/02/28/business/crypto-mogul-trump-coins-civil-fraud-charges

You can buy movie rights to Melanias life story. https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/amazon-buys-melania-life-story-203426502.html

You can pay way too much to stay at a trump property.

https://www.forbes.com/sites/danalexander/2023/04/10/china-paid-trump-millions-in-rent-then-he-left-the-white-house/

Trump has no trouble creating ways to get paid. Much like the Clinton lecture circuit.

Fuck he might straight up take Zelle Venmo or cashapp if you ask.

4

u/Budderfingerbandit 22d ago

Trump trying to do away with the CHIPS act funding shows that it was never actually about making America great again by bringing US jobs back. The fact that his supporters have this shining example of how full of shit Trump is, yet ignore it and continue to chant his name is infuriating.

2

u/RodDamnit 22d ago

He’s going after chips because it was a Biden success. He doesn’t give a fuck about what’s good for American jobs. Only what’s good for trump.

4

u/lolas_coffee 22d ago

There is zero good news for stocks for a very long time.

Republicants are 100% committed to crashing the US economy, the global economy, starting WW3 over Greenland/Panama/Canada/Mexico, and making sure the 2 transwomen who want to run in a 10K can't.

1

u/notthattmack 22d ago

The Clinton lecture circuit is a ridiculous comparison to Trump-level corruption. For one, Trump and family take money while in office, and two, the Clintons would get a few hundred thousand for making actual speeches - rates that fit the high end of the market. People pay money for tickets to see the Clintons - they sell out stadiums (I have been to a Clinton speech that sold out a hockey stadium in Canada with the cheapest tickets being over $100). The Trump family is taking billions in dark money for no ostensible work - just crypto, bullshit stock, and at best the Saudis giving Jared fees to sit on their money until it hatches.

1

u/RodDamnit 22d ago

Pssst. I know it is. But you have to sneak these things into the mind of a conservative a certain way or they will never see it in their boy.

2

u/bostwickenator 22d ago

Tariffs cannot make a nation more wealthy they are paid by the nation. The Republican party keeps saying "they'll raise so much money" FROM US DIPSHITS, that's our money this is a TAX. Infuriating how dumb people are.

1

u/RaLaZa 22d ago

Part of why the us is so wealthy is because we do commerce globally. It sucks to see decades of effort ruined in months. Who tf is gonna wanna buy US products after this.

3

u/glenn_ganges 22d ago

surrounded by his people who will do whatever he wants

You have this backwards. I mean yes people make whatever he wants to happen happen, but all he wants is to play golf and watch tv.

All the bad stuff going on is what he is being told to do.

1

u/jbutler60 22d ago

So true, Americans picked the wrong guy

1

u/Tsmart 22d ago

exactly. Trump is not hand picking EO's to sign en mass

1

u/Brokenandburnt 22d ago

Tbf he is inordinately proud of his own signature. And impressed by any signature at all.

1

u/Tsmart 22d ago

That's what I'm saying, he's happy to slap his signature wherever he's told as long as he gets to point it at the camera. His henchmen are the ones picking the EO's

1

u/mercury228 22d ago

I am shocked that the reality tv star would not be a good president.

1

u/jbutler60 22d ago

Go figure, 😂

1

u/theguysheto1duabout 20d ago

He did have concepts of a plan.

1

u/Chappymate 19d ago

Everyone knows it. Argh!

-2

u/DickCheneysTaint 22d ago

The point isn't to make us wealthy. It's to get other countries to drop their insane tariffs on US products and level the playing field.

5

u/Underlord_Fox 22d ago

Weird how the opposite is happening. Extremely upset allies are boycotting products and US vacations in addition to the new retaliatory tariffs Trump has caused.

Trump negotiated the USMCA that replaced Nafta!

-3

u/DickCheneysTaint 22d ago

Canadian soibois throwing hissy fits isn't a good reason to change course. The trade war will collapse their economy long before America begins to suffer.

3

u/Alone-Win1994 22d ago

You sound like a mentally deficient middle schooler, who unironically calls people soyboys like that?! Lol

Do you actually think talking like a instigating liddle douchebag makes you look cool or something?

Imagine thinking bullying one of our longest and closest allies, who has done great deeds for us, is a show of strength instead of a humiliating show of weakness.

That face when American "patriots" are her biggest downfall lol.

2

u/ReddicaPolitician 22d ago

We’re already suffering now… wtf are you on about???

2

u/Cure_Your_DISEASE07 22d ago

America is already suffering right now you numbnut.

2

u/bostwickenator 22d ago

Haha print this out and frame it while you can still afford ink.

1

u/Underlord_Fox 22d ago

Why on earth would you support an actual trade war against one of our best trading partners and staunchest allies?

Like, to the point of suffering?

Trump's first administration negotiated our current trading agreement with Canada.

Open your eyes. This tariff war is good for no one. Jack Daniels has fired 12% of its staff! Why would you wish that on the town of Lynchburg Tennessee?

We've all been lied to. Trump and his billionaires don't give a fuck about any of us.

3

u/SM57 22d ago

They’ll cave any day now, right?

2

u/denewoman 22d ago

Canadians are digging in. 3 to 4 weeks might see a breakdown of American society.

1

u/DickCheneysTaint 22d ago

I'm guessing 3 to 4 weeks but yes.

1

u/Alone-Win1994 22d ago edited 22d ago

RemindMe! 4 weeks

I wonder if you'll start making up excuses as to why your leader isn't fucking everything up and is actually the biggest winner when I come back and you are wrong. You guys act like UFO and Flat Earth true believers and full blown cult members, so I expect the same behavior as when those people are proven wrong.

Honestly, look at the US economy over the last 10+ years (minus covid which Trump did nothing for) our stock market and economy was growing and doing very well

1

u/jbutler60 22d ago

Foreign tariffs had little impact

1

u/MrEs 22d ago edited 21d ago

What tariffs does Australia have? Why put a tariff on them?

1

u/rentrane 21d ago

The PM is recommending people buy Australian made. So, a boycott.

Good job Trump.
Attack friends. Suck up to enemies. Brilliant.
