Technically NATO should declare war on the USA if it Annexes Greenland, its not just for defence against external enemies. Reality is that NATO will implode and the EU will impose sanctions on the USA.

It will. And technically the USA will need to attack itself.
Which it's doing already by punching itself in the face.

So strategically dumb. If Russia invaded Greenland now, you'd get the US and NATO.
If the US takes over greenland, they are on their own, and who knows, Europe might not stand in the way of Russia doing it.

The Heritage Foundation are some of the most "think they are great but are actually shit" people on the planet. Deluded old boomers.

I mean, that sounds like a great deal for Russia...

Pootin & Trump want Greenland, Canada, and the Panama Canal... So that zero goods are moved to/from Asia without payment to them.

Russia is not going to attack any NATO country, Greenland or USA. Same with China. Nobody wants to ruin their economy fighting with a Nuclear country especially after Covid. So People, stop making up story. And think logically.

The extreme wings of politics always think they playing a single player game where they set the rules, reality always comes crashing down on them.

No suicidal European nation would attack the USA just for Denmark to keep its toy colony, even if we did we'd lose. But the consequences would be eternal and would really cause a major geopolitical shift.

NATO would in all probability defeat the USA, they are nowhere near as strong as they think they are militarily

Based on what? I'm not saying the US would win easily, but we've all but held back (with assistance from those same NATO countries) what was considered, at least on paper, the third(?) most powerful military to a standstill for three years now with intelligence sharing and decades old ground armaments. For better or worse, having the best military has kind of been a pillar of our country for a long time now, so much so that many of those NATO countries buy our stuff. And I would not be surprised if there's at least one guy whose job is to know exactly what our allies have and make plans to counter them, "just in case".
