I think the fact that they were able to curb inflation without driving unemployment up will be studied decades from now.

Dont speak too soon. Wait until Q2 unemployment numbers come out.

Q2 employment numbers will be from Trump’s actions.

They’ll be discussing how Trump screwed the incredible Biden recovery within two months of taking office the second time.

100% agreed. Even though I agreed that the government has waste, you can’t just use a chainsaw to cut everything because things are interconnected. For example, Boeing, Tesla, Amazon, EY, Oracle, SAP, etc. all have large government contracts. Funding cuts will trigger large lay-offs. Not to mention thousands of grants being stop and federal employees being fired. I predict that unemployment rate will go up over 5% in upcoming report. However, I guess Elon, Bezos, and Boeing are safe.
