Discussion Theres something shady behind the scenes

I understand that the tariffs would affect the stock market and things would dip a bit but this is absolutely insane. Our corporate economic health has been grossly inflated and overexaggerated by cheap import goods and cheap overseas manufacturing that it feels like we are gonna see a total crash just because of increased taxation on import goods(market is doing a lot for something that we havent even seen the impact on yet cause it was just voted on). The valuations we are about to see are what these companies would be valued at in the 1st place if they werent making RECORD PROFITS year over year by cutting wages and hours and outsourcing tech support to the east. Too much profit overreach. Not enough genuine stability and all this outsourcing and wage slashing has put the average worker in a deficit where the only way out of the rat race was to become a god tier options trader otherwise they will never be able to retire.

You think a rich billionaire is the one to fix it?

The guy notorious for not paying his contractors?

Professional economists all agree that the reason for the tariffs are an effort to compel Jerome Powell to lower interest rates.

Lower rates means the U.S. can refinance the national debt. Giving this billionaire a way to give more tax cuts to those least in need of tax cuts. Yup. The billionaire and all his billionaire cabinet members.

Exactly, this is a much-needed reality check. Years of outsourcing, wage suppression, aggressive share buybacks, and blatant tax evasion (just look at Google funneling profits through Ireland) have artificially propped up corporate profits. Now the market’s finally facing the consequences of prioritizing short-term gains over real economic stability

Ever since Slick willy clintons signed that trade agreement we have been getting slammed. Maybe this will fix real prices on things. Some of these companies just dont seem like the right numbers and i dont care what market makers say.. there be some hinnies puckering today .. wonder if any margins are going to get called soon.
