Yeah, you do have a good point. I think they were handed a bad hand and people's complacency did not help. It is almost as if people beg to have economic catastrophes now. I was trying to explain tariffs to people at a table and they all acted like those wouldn't apply to them. At least I can be right while my portfolio gets fucked.
