Seriously try to do what you suggest the drop is very visible on the 30 year scale. It is a set back almost the sice of covid a global pandemic!

The difference is this hit mainly usa!

You need to touch some grass buddy. You linked a google search..type in dow 30 or 50 year average chart. You can see several sharp downtrends and uptrends. Life is more than just 20 second clips and headlines.

Man I guess 5 year old me should have been investing in my 401k and deferred comp. I have lost almost 10 grand in the last few days.
