Hi all — I’m looking for testers for a multiplayer music game currently in development. (For MacOS, PC version in development)
The gameplay revolves around real-time music improvisation (2–8 players). With each note played/released the game calculates an evolving harmonic potential (or consensus)
If someone plays outside the consensus, others don’t hear their note — shake red and receive an error. Players then receive an Elo-rating (like chess) based on congruency to the band. This rating will be used for matchmaking in the future.
There is also a Free Mode if people just want to jam together. And you can create a private server with your friends.
It’s currently available for testing through TestFlight on macOS. Happy to get testers of all skill levels (requires a MIDI keyboard): https://testflight.apple.com/join/5f2Umdhh

So I’ve been playing guitar for almost 5 years. My inspirations were The Beatles, and Beach Boys. I’ve expanded my music much more and listen to more recent indie, more 60s bands, and have become comfortable playing and singing for people. I’ve also been told that I’ve got a good young Lennon rock voice. I used to play sierreño music because I didn’t think rock or indie to were big where Im from. But now I’ve put that aside and want to start a retro indie-rock band. So far, I’ve got my brother and I, he has a very similar voice to me but has a softer voice overall, nicer falsetto and higher register, but not as strong of a rock voice. He plays keyboard, and we jam out well enough to get through songs. What honestly sucks is that he lives two hours away and the only people that I know that can help w the band, don’t want to help because they’re too lazy or they’ve got their own band. I’ve also already tried putting up flyers w my info but i’ve only gotten one text, and the person never responded back. So honestly, I need advice on this. I’ve been really really wanting to start this band, but I’m in such a tough spot because there’s literally no one other than my bro, but i only see him on the weekends.

Listening to Rachmaninov's second piano concerto will help you with melody structure! highly recommend to listen at least weekly if you can.
