there can be an exception imho if there is an event. like this instead of meatballs on toothpicks looks kind of inventive. meant to be held and walk around with i suspect. idk on this one, methinks its for a bridal shower or such and works inside that frame. now if i sit down and this comes i will shit on one hand and clap

This is what I was thinking... there's a food and wine festival near me where they have various restaurants who give tiny samples of food, and there's not a whole lot of tables... this would be awesome there.
Handed to me as part of a table service, not so much.

Aw, but pansies are edible and yummy! Make sure to munch those, too!

The packet of honey (I think?) seems kinda messy

I wonder if a honey straw would have been better? The packaging is more rigid.
Also of the various inanities I've seen on this site, this one... doesn't bother me. It'd even be cute at a walk-around event.

It appears to be a spoon with honey on it:Β https://www.amazon.com/HoneyGo-Grand-Flower-Spoons-Sealed/dp/B09J9X4ZGR?ref_=ast_sto_dp&th=1
Doesn't look too bad. There's even someone in the reviews who also used it in a charcuterieΒ cone thing. One of the other reviewers said they used it for drizzling over the charcuterie board.

I'm actually not sure how to feel either. My biggest concern is being able to access all the fixings when I want vs just having them spread out on a plate. Certainly has some eye appeal though.

This is how charcuterie is normally served in Spain as street food.

This looks way better. The OP has like a slice of meat and then a bunch of fruit. If I want charcuterie I want a bunch of meat and cheese.

You and I are total opposites in taste. I just want a bunch of fruit lol you can have my meat and cheese

there's just 1 type of meat, one type of cheese, and a lot of inedible plants. I couldn't do this

Pansies are edible.

they are not poisonous, but I imagine it's like eating the stem of the strawberry. It's not as enjoyable to eat as normal food.

Where're the nuts, olives, pickles, cheese? This is fun but it's pretty far from shark coochie imho

At least it has cured meats. The amount of "cured meat" boards that contain no cured meats whatsoever.

I think these became popular at parties because of Covid

I was putting these together in '99. Very common way to serve in Europe and at parties and weddings. Nothing to do with covid.

They were a thing before that but nobody really got on the highest horse they could find about it. Now it's like...a serious industry? Like okay, I guess. It's kind of an art, but...I don't understand how there's a whole industry where someone like comes to your house and lays these out. Street food style is totally understandable but it can't be that difficult to arrange a bunch of food on a table and have it look attractive. Why is THAT an industry?
