Sucks this happened to you but if we just look at this sub as a slice of all users, the number of posts like yours is a tiny fraction of the total number of posts each week.
Net net... Something to be aware of but not something to be overly concerned about.

Was this sinus tachycardia or something else ? Normally under 150 it’s just sinus tachycardia

Same thing happened to me with my heart rate, but I wasn’t nauseous the night before I just didn’t eat or drink enough. Woke up one morning, felt very lethargic and tired. Was extremely shaky and my resting heart rate was at 203bmp (just trying to get dressed). Went to the ER because I felt weak and like fainting and as I waited I ate and drank and felt better after every hour. Took all day to get my strength back. Hospital did blood work and blood pressure, it was all normal. I honestly didn’t not eat enough on purpose I just wasn’t as hungry and tried bringing my calorie intake down because I had plateaued. All this to say, eat the right amount of calories and drink lots!

My family doc suspected I was low on blood sugar but I did a fasting bloodwork a week later and all was good. I’m hoping it was just the fact I didn’t eat enough the day before

Thanks for sharing. Sorry this happened to you, that’s so scary! What exactly did they say this was from? I know the medication, but did they say why?

Yeah but why. Did it raise your heart level too high? Give you a seizure? What’s the cause?

Probably lack of potassium. You need electrolytes. 🤷🏼

Pretty much this is what I’d guess. Hours of vomiting doesn’t actively help your heart rate either.

Dehydrated? Way under the calories? Panic attack?
