Switching from ozempic to wegovy

I prefer to stay on the lowest dose. I’m currently on .25 ozempic and had to switch to wegovy. My dr gave me .5 pens but I don’t want to go up to .5. Is there a way to stay on the .25 dose with .5 wegovy pens?

Soo Wegovy and Ozempic are the same thing in different packages. Are you swapping because of the dosing? If they're wind up pens, work out how many clicks it is for a full dose and then half it. Otherwise you could transfer to a vial and use a normal diabetes needle to draw up the amount that you need. A friend of mine just puts the needle actually straight into the Wegovy pen where it's clear and draws out of that, she's a nurse so I guess she knows what she's doing.

You can easily in any country except the US. In the US it gets complicated to hack the pens. Wegovy in the US does not have phenol as an antibacterial so use caution.
