I mean, prior to this, we have Elon deliberately giving Nazis a platform and amplifying their voices-- including instances where he agrees with him. We have situations where he's touted the Great Replacement theory. Dude supports the German political party currently associated with Neo-Nazis.
And only after all of that... THEN he gives two very clear "odd hand gestures" on national television.
He even followed that by saying, "It is thanks to you that the future of civilization is assured." It sounds an awful lot like, "We must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children."
But sure... It was totally taken out of context. /s

Here in The Netherlands, we're still in the fascist stage. Thankfully our parliament is so oversaturated, a single nazi/fascist party can't take over completely. Hopefully the eligble voters will realise that extreme right isn't the answer.

There are dozens of American Christofascist organizations out there working internationally. They are infiltrating your churches, your news media, and corrupting your conservative politicians. They have billions upon billions of dollars, and they want to make every country into America.

So… there is no official confirmation on this yet, but I work with (not for, unless there are ongoing projects) a developer that is looking to distance themselves from any investors associated with Elon Musk. They are 100% looking to cut out all funding from Musk’s side investments because of this. The banks that lend to this developer are actually the ones who recommended this course of action.
Musks behavior is going to bite him on his ass very… very soon. If investors are looking to distance themselves from him, it’s only a matter of time.
Regardless if a person is compassionate or a flaming piece of shit, his antics are bad for business.

I mean at this point does it really matter though, he's literally the richest person in the world so it's not like it's ever going to affect him in a way where he can't still have anything he ever wanted and also he's part of the president's Inner Circle so no one's going to stop him from doing any of this. It'll probably upset him if he loses investors and money but in the grand scheme of things it's not going to affect him. Branted it may piss him off so much that it does affect him and that's probably the best we can hope for

Of course it will affect him.
If the other rich people in the world don’t want to work with him he can’t get more wealth unless he invests in the business venture solo.
Very few people solo fund businesses ventures anymore. It is risky and a standard business practice is to find investors. You reduce exposure this way.
His only option will be to disappear from the lime light (if he wants to retire in peace) or lose money trying to stay relevant. The important part is that other businesses do not approve of this behavior.

Its not just him that it will effect. If business owners pull out of dealing with musk, it means that other less rich business people will also either hide their fascism or stop doing it all together.

Considering that 100% of his behavior at this point seems to be intended to stroke his own ego, anything that might bruise said ego is going to have a big impact on him. He might be the wealthiest man in the world, but he’s also a weak little incel baby who needs to feel like people think he’s “cool”. He couldn’t be happy just having a positive impact on society through his businesses or by getting involved in philanthropy. Nope, he needs personal acknowledgement and adoration or he’ll have to hide in a corner and self-medicate.
And the people he’s surrounding himself with are precisely the kind of people who will turn on him to maintain their status in the “in” group, so…the more he’s subjected to rejection, the more rejection he’ll receive, and the greater the chance that he’ll just lose his shit and fritter his money away trying to regain relevance (or die trying). It’s actually probably one of the better nonviolent strategies for solving the Leon problem…

Thanks for this piece of info, I have to be honest, with it only being day 4, I am utterly exhausted. My birthday was yesterday too and it was a shit day because of 47s antics. I tried to not let it ruin my day, but I have a lot of friends who will be affected by these orders, so I’ve been worried. Just hope it happens very soon, they need a wake up call.

It is stressful and I’m right there with you. Here is hoping we can just grit our teeth and get to 2028.
In the meantime the important things to note:
- first and foremost we need to encourage the left wing voters to vote in the interim elections. We can’t let Congress be controlled by the right. Frankly I wouldn’t give a shit if a left wing presidential candidate never won an election for the foreseeable future simply because the president isn’t the position that dictates policy. Congress has the power to make laws, enforce them, change them, charge a president with crimes, etc. We really don’t need the presidency, we just need Congress.
- we need to let our friends know that in no election will we be able to get everything we want. Those friends of ours that knowingly abstained from voting because the Democratic Party didn’t give them everything they wanted are directly to blame for this election result. If people continue to do this, they are not our ally. We need to have heart to heart conversations with our friends and let them know that boycotting the vote is unacceptable.
- yes, the Democratic Party needs a bit of reform, but that isn’t going to happen until they lose enough. Maybe now they will listen for once.
Frankly there is a part of me that wants to start a reform Republican Party. The current party is a shitshow and there are plenty of Republicans that want to distance themselves from the Trumpanzees but feel they don’t have an outlet to do so. A reform Republican Party would give them that opportunity. I personally wouldn’t love to run if I had the financial backing.
My personal goals as POTUS / running issues:
- Congressional term limits.
- Investigation of corruption in the SCOTUS.
- Establishing laws that deter meetings of lobbyists and politicians behind closed doors mandating that all meetings are recorded and the press is given unrestricted access to the recordings.
- And tackling a restructuring of the tax system.

Thank you! And your points are spot on, I think you have appropriately explained a lot of how I feel and think things should be done. My youngest brother isn’t too fond of voting anymore (and honestly with the electoral college, I don’t blame him), but I really stressed to him if anything to vote in the midterms. While the presidential elections are important, I think with the midterms we can make the most impact. And if anything, I told him he needs to vote for his 2 sons, one is almost 2 years old and the other is due in March 2025. That’s all I’m worried about now, just making sure the future is good for my niece and nephews. Appreciate your kind words and ideas, and thanks again for your above info.

Yeah, your bro needs to keep voting especially keeping his kids in mind. In years past I always felt Republicans were “hypocrites and fools”… as of 2016 I changed my opinion to “unhinged and dangerous.”
I’m white-ish, male, late middle aged, cys, and heterosexual and even I am seriously concerned regarding my and my family’s safety. I’m almost a poster boy for privilege. ESL first generation son of immigrants who still don’t speak English, Jewish heritage are really my only identity concerns.
If I of all people am nervous right now, I can only imagine how a PoC, AGAB female, LGBTQ+, immigrant, non-evangelical Christian with preexisting medical conditions is feeling right now. Who the fuck wants to live with this sort of stress constantly over their head? Nobody. Based on your brother’s kids demographic/identity they may very well end up being in one of the targeted demographics by the GOP. It is important that he understands that his kids safety and happiness may be at risk.

Absolutely! I’m a white cis female, married, but I was unable to have kids because my lady bits had to be removed due to other serious conditions and I cannot tell you how many times people appear to be shocked that I had a hysterectomy. Not because of the health issues but because I didn’t seek permission from my husband. Not kidding. Then I’ll get the follow up question/statement of “oh well, you can adopt or foster” to which I’ll reply with “Oh I’m happy with my niece and nephews” and from there it goes downhill. Apparently my only purpose in life as a straight, married woman was to have kids and take care of the family. It’s horrifying. And I feel the worst for my oldest nephew because he identifies with the LGTBQ community, but he has to be careful about living his life and it’s for reasons like the GOP and 47s tyrannical ways. He’s 13, he shouldn’t have to worry about this crap.
I think that’s why I’m always harping on my brother, we have to vote, we have to be active in our community and we have to try and set up the best possible life for our kids because we’re seeing so many freedoms being taken away everyday. And the politicians aren’t worried because it doesn’t affect them now and it won’t later, so why care? It’s absolutely mind boggling. Sort of like climate change, I just want a better climate for future generations, regardless if I’m alive or not, but we see how well that’s going too.
