Consider what this man was saying 5 years ago...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4VCvwkDsHlc

He was literally predicting what we are seeing unfolding before our eyes, in my humble opinion. I thought this was relevant due to the fact he was removed from the State of the Union address last night for speaking out.

I thought people ought to hear what he had to say here.

Very eloquent speaker. I wish we had more people like him and could get this messaging on a nationwide scale.

No offense to him, he's too old. Him and the others who walked out last night are American heroes.

Yes they are. I wish more of them stood with Al Green when he was being thrown out

When Rep. Green was removed from the House floor, every Democrat had an obligation to stand and leave with him. Their failure to unite behind Green is an abject failure of character.

Trump is a unique President. He's a pathological liar who has no interest in working with both sides of Congress. He also talks out of both sides of his mouth and has no loyalty to anything.

Nothing he says can be trusted. He'll stab you in the back for his own interests. This is why Democrats in Congress attempting to appease Trump and the GOP by supporting the GOPs legislation has completely backfired, both back in 2016-20 and now.

The only way out of this fiasco is for the Democrats to unite as one and convince Democrats, Independents and disaffected Republicans to vote, and sweep the 2026 mid-term elections with a supermajority.

If that happens, the Democrats can replace Mike Johnson with a Democrat House Speaker, impeach Trump and Vance, and move the House Speaker into the White House along with a new VP. Additionally, they can impeach the Supreme Court for dereliction of duty and lying to Congress during their confirmations.

Only then can Congress reverse the incredible damage Trump has inflicted upon this country and it's people, overhaul the laws of this country to prevent this from happening again, and secure the rights and freedoms of our citizens for the future.

Very well said. I fully agree 10000%. They missed an amazing opportunity to show they were actually working AND sticking together to work through all the chaos.

There'll be a day coming soon, where some of these assholes will be thinking, "Why didn't I stand up with Al?", "Why didn't I listen to Bernie?", "Why didn't I listen to my own conscience?". But by definition, that day will be too late.
