Bench hole accessories?

Can I make my own bench hole accessories with 3/4” aluminum rods? I chose aluminum because it’s easier to cut.

Of course, just make sure you have a rim or tension rod etc so it doesn't fall through your holes.

Most bench dogs for round holes are at least an inch wide with the rod 3/4".

Make sure to accessorize your bench so much you have no room to work.

They are usually made out of brass. But like if you can’t figure out that there is no reason aluminum won’t work, and just go for it What are you even asking?
