I'm having trouble connecting a YouTube Brand Account to third-party apps like VidIQ and StreamElements.

The weird part is, my primary YouTube account connects just fine, and if I create a new Brand Account under the same Gmail, that works too. But the specific Brand Account I want to use refuses to connect. It just sits there endlessly trying to connect.

Here’s what I’ve already tried:

• Cleared my cache
• Tried different browsers
• Set the Brand Account as my default channel in YouTube settings
• Transferred ownership to another Gmail and logged into the apps with that instead
• Adjusted permissions via YouTube Studio to allow account management
• Logged the account out and back in multiple times
  

Some additional details:

• The Brand Account is about a year old
• All features are enabled and the account is fully verified
• I’ve confirmed ownership, and verified that other brand accounts under the same Gmail connect to third-party apps with no issue
  

At this point, I’m not sure what else to try. Any ideas?

Hello all: In the iOS Youtube app, I am unable to change the playback speed. I am able to change it in other places such as on my Apple TV and browser. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Listening to everything on normal speed is very slow indeed. Thank you for the help.

Did some more digging found out she is 19 now but has been doing this since way before she was 18. She was homeschooled and has been doing YouTube for several years since 2016.

Does anyone want to see this? It's just Beam NG too and they crash a lot so I don't know why they need to add that perspective. You're not seeing something amazing. For F1 or WRC it makes more sense but from the clips I've seen they don't do it at all or maybe very rarely. And if they do, you're seeing professionals in action unlike the above.

Searched and quickly found many complaints about the autoplay on launch at least on the android app. Please everyone that is, like me, highly frustrated by videos playing on launch that I didn't even choose to give loud and clear feedback to YouTube from within the app.

On my phone when i watch yt videos and the vid enters an ad the vid mutes i dont have my volume down or anythin like how do i fix this

I have updated to the 20.13.37 version of the Android app, and the black background is back! No more grey / gray pillar box bars anymore!

And yes I know how to press do not recommend but nothing ever changes anymore across all versions of YouTube. This is beyond dodgy and seems to be done on purpose. Does anyone else have this problem? Hiw do I fix it?

Every time I click on a comment I see "failed to load, tap to retry" with absolutely no way around it, cleared the cache, did nothing, reinstalled the app, did nothing, made sure my connection was good, did nothing, it stays, no matter what I do, can someone help?

Has anyone else seen like shorts of this japanese man where he just.. live streams himself sleeping? He has sleep apnea so he’s hooked up to a machine and usually his corgi would be sleeping next to him. All his videos seem weirdly sad, his channels description too. I also stumbled upon this other guy who livestreams every day that he’s homeless, he’s on day 933. Has anyone else been getting these videos recommended?

Hello! Anyone knows if it is possible to stop Youtube from going to a random livestream after a few videos get played in autoplay?
I use Youtube to fall asleep too because I have tinnitus, but this thing keeps going from peaceful videos or low volume commentary stuff to a random Youtuber's Gaming Livestream and they'll inevitable eventually scream or rage and wake me up.

So starting yesterday for some reason YouTube will not let me watch shorts, take forever to load a video, and then when I start a video it will buffer every 30 seconds. I know this sounds like just a WiFi problem but I promise it’s not because I’ve tried it with both WiFi and 5G Data and still the same problem. All my other apps work fine off WiFi as well so it’s just YouTube. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app and still the same thing

I can't watch anything on my app. It's not like there is no internet connection, it's connecting but just sitting there buffering and not playing anything. Anyone else dealing with that right now?

Update: I found that if you have a VPN connection turned on, it'll play videos and act normal. Hope this helps.

So I’ve been issuing YouTube like normal for the past few days but then, I’m getting ads in a different language called Zürich and idk what kind of language that is but it says that. And it’s getting annoying. And when I tried to fix it by changing my location to America and my language to English, it said it can’t and it didn’t work. I’m getting mad. Can someone help me please so I can at least see ads in my language? Thank you😔

I keep on getting these videos in my feed where the text says "goodbye grade _", because students in the Philippines are graduating this year. Not only are they exposing their personal information (maybe I'm just being soft), but I find them annoying. I'm not going to wish ill on these children, it's kind of sweet to see them graduating, but it's all over my FYP. Example of a video here. Anyone getting this?
