Solid average
Striving for mediocrity! That's my motto!
I will say though that the pictures with the itty bitty cars and it seems like I should've filled the frame with the subject etc. etc.
The originals are HUGE. The usual: Pano, f1.8 lots of megapixels etc. etc.
So just imagine wall sized prints not just seeing it on the supercomputer in your pocket

Did you see the mega nest at Bulwark? That’s George’s and his multi-generational families nest.

I did not, as I was there when it was extremely cold with very very deep snow. It really put a damper on any proper exploration.

But you were out exploring and taking photos - the rest is just an added bonus. You still win! 🙂

Correct. I did a Montana loop on that one and came back with some good images so I did indeed win

Love these. Reminds me of abandoned houses I would see on the side of the highway growing up. Very cool!

Lovely photos... That is such a hard lifestyle.... How self-sufficient did people be way back then compare people now? I would live somewhere like that.... I have to bring in technology of course.. Along with getting my private pilot's license and a small plane...

Lots of people still live a similar lifestyle. The nearest home Depot/Starbucks/7-11 etc. is 120 miles from my house for example.
40 acres, tractor, lots of work outside... You get used to it

It is a lifestyle. Unfortunately, many of their current generation are too lazy for such hard living...

Ah I see. There's more of a grab bag on Instagram. I was never able to get much traction though so I stopped posting anything recent

Thank you, I kind of forgot everything that I posted on there but I did a quick look back through.
About 7 years ago I posted a bunch of Kodachrome slide film photos that I found at a garage sale, those were kind of cool. Photos from the late 40s to early 50s
No idea who the photographer was though.
