Abandoned 1900 George F. Barber Victorian in Fleischmanns, NY
Deteriorating example of architect George F. Barber’s design no. 37 from “New Model Dwellings.” Matt Z. captured these shots in March 2008 showing the front porch buckling. If you'd like some more information, here's a link.

Scary experience a few years ago
I’ve been reading other people’s stories about wild things they have seen in abandon places and I was wondering if anyone had anything they would want to share, here’s my story. This was around 4 years ago i used to run track when i was in high school and the summer had just started. Our coach would have us do these summer workouts and so My teammates and I decided to go run on this trail that was pretty much in the middle of nowhere, I don’t remember who found it. When we got there we started our run and we get maybe like 2 or 3 miles out on this trail and we come across this farm and this little house. So we go explore the farm first and nothing was really there just some old machinery and a big fire pit in the middle of the barn with these couch cushions around it. When we got to the house it was pretty vandalized it looked like and things were broken everywhere, the upstairs/attic had all of the drywall ripped out so there was just a big room of all insulation and graffiti. When we got down to the basement, there were 2 rooms I remember. One room had a chair in it and the other room had only a noose hanging from the ceiling and satanic ritual stuff marked all over the floor and walls. It was a decent sized group of us there probably about 8-10 of us so it didn’t really make me feel scared or anything when I was there but when I think about it now that’s pretty wild lol. I wonder if anything went down in that house.

The scary one is a deer skeleton
My usual assortment of gidgets and googads. If you don't like it you can (see last image).
Anyway the skeleton was apparently a deer that got stuck in barb wire and died (according to the friendly homeowner nearby)
The spectral orb? just your everyday standard mysterious glowing cave orb. I've seen three this last week! They get kind of annoying what with all the "WHO DARES ENTER!" and the "I WILL DEVOUR YOUR SOULS" but they're pretty friendly once you get to know them.

Gerrard Chapel is an extinct Primitive Baptist church. It was founded as a branch of the Baptist Church of Christ on Swift Creek in May 1808. It went inactive in the 1980s. Its graveyard is the resting place of Revolutionary War vet Joshua Hill.

Fixer Upper (Southern Ontario)
I pass this place a couple times a week and finally worked up the courage to walk inside (don’t worry, I already got my tetanus shot). Shot on medium format film.
