No fr I rescued and fostered cats for a while and everytime I had to introduce new cats or kittens it was always like this for about a week and I would make sure to keep separate at night but then they would all end up getting along , but your absolutely right and that’s all I could picture in my head during those moments

This reminds me of the time my older brother(12 year age gap) recounted how when he was 12, our mom asked him if he wanted a brother and his response was “I mean I did but it’s too late now” 😹

When I brought home my voidling, my cat ran to the top of her cat tree and stayed there for at least two days (or so it seemed.)
She wasn’t happy at all!

Same thing happened when I brought my voidling home except my cat spent a couple days on top of the kitchen cabinets. I put food and water up there. Then one day, I came home from work and the two were curled up on the couch together.

It took about a week, and then they’d be curled up together; once my void started growing, they ran out of room in their window bed. 🤣

Just to clarify I took in the kitten, my mom's cat was very uncomfortable with him.
