Apparently she rejected him, per this video. Not sure if she was captive or not.

So, at least he wasn’t stolen. Sounds like he was eventually treated poorly though, and died (if this is reliable).

I dunno, I feel like any time you hold animals captive you have too high chances of neglect or abuse (eg Blackfish).

Why is the dude wearing a mask while he's teaching the deal pup to swim? Was there a seal flu going around? I've heard of different types like bird, monkey swine, etc.
