This really cool guy parks in the middle of 4 spots every single morning at the gym.

If he's going to the gym then he should be into fitness. What trouble would it be to park far away where there are less cars and walk his happy ass into the gym?

Just go up to him as he is leaving and say, “You into fitness? How about fitness car in a spot?”
(For those whose first language is not English, the second “fitness” is word play and could sound like “fitting this” when it is said.)

Find some shopping carts and zip ties! You know what to do!

Was thinking this. One time is bad but to doing this on a regular basis is a set up for some major damage. Not that I would recommend that, but would be well deserved.

Sidewalk chalk. Pink. Lots of it. Make him his own parking space with stars and crowns and declare it his special princess parking space.

Complain to management?

That is the best thing to do. They are going to have to make an example of him.

I like to send folks like this a little message by pressing the passenger side mirror all the way to the edge of its rotation. It's harmless to the car, quick and easy to do in a pass by, easily fixable, and not usually noticed by the driver until they are on the road. It also sends a clear message that their car is not untouchable and parking like that may prevent cars from getting close but not people. :)

I remember when Mustangs were cool.

Yes, but those were the 1960's Mustangs. At least when you jumped on the gas in those, they normally went in a straight line instead of jumping curbs into crowds.

Go in with a small jack and some pieces of lumber. Jack up the rear axle so it is "just" off of the ground and block it up. I assume a newer Mustang has limited slip, so you will have to do both sides.

Why blur the license plate?
1
u/Stevepem1 11h ago
No one ever answers that question. The license plate is out in public easily seen by anyone. What could a cybercriminal do with a license plate number? It's not available in any public databases. I wouldn't mind even a far-fetched theory about what harm could be done, but I never get even that, just answers like "I'm not sure but it's probably best to be safe anyway". Are they worried that the owner of the car is going to see the post online and come after them through the Internet?

Get out the chalk! Time to draw the “Look at MEEEE! I’m soooo special!” Wording with rainbows and unicorns.

I think he is having trouble keeping up with his car payments, and is hoping someone will trash his car, ideally by setting it on fire, for him, so he can claim on the insurance and get something cheaper. Doing a good deed for someone having a tough time is a nice thing to do. Bring some thermite next time.

Can we safely assume anything else about this person besides the probability that they can not afford the car and that they are really cool? Does the OP know if this person is winning or losing their fitness battle at the gym?

He’s giving the Stang enough breathing room so it doesnt decide to demolish an unsuspecting crowd of people

Cool car,for sure, but he’s just ask for a passive aggressive Camry driver to park 2 inches off his left side….People love to ‘teach you a lesson’
