Bruh, click on it and it will show why one is better than the other. I would advise to disable AI review, if you're going to use it like this it won't do any good. Ask for human review instead.

W H6 H5 accomplishes nothing. W H3 H5 H2 H1 E1 J3 F1 J2, on the other hand, reduces B territory by several points.
Edit: oh yeah, and as mentioned by Uberdude, there's also the ko after W H3 H5 H2 H1 G1 J2, but evaluating if it's a good idea would take too much effort for me at the moment.

throw in g1 after h1, yeah?

B should be losing by ~2.5 points after the basic reduction, so ko should be unnecessary. But yeah, something to consider at least.

h6 does not work, your opponent made a mistake if they lost something here.
Yes, h3 would be immediately captured; but then h5 becomes a forcing move. Black must capture at j3, and white gets to follow up h7 and catches 4 stones.
If black blocks h5 instead of capturing h3, white descends to h2, and the bottom group becomes in danger.
After h1, there is a throw-in at g1, then atari e1 to win the corner.
Black can also make a ko at j2 after the throw-in, but white still profits.

It usually helps to observe the moves after the "mistake". This helps in a few ways:
See if your opponent blunders right after, and see what they were supposed to do.
See the recommended response to your move and compare it to the sequence with the recommended move first. Is it a local mistake or a larger strategic mistake (especially on small board AI can make weird choices when behind)
Respond to the recommended move with what you were worried about and see if it's actually a problem

H6 is bad because black should answer at h5 and then black is safe and there's nothing you can capture. Black evidently did an even worse move in response to your bad move to make it good.
H3 is good because if black captures at h2 as you suggest then h5 is an atari, and then h7 captures 4 stones for big profit. H6 is bad because by giving black a stone at h5 you help him fix this weakness and then h3 no longer works. So h3 is actually the move which does "I was making black choose between 2 areas." and black can't defend both. h6 threatens h5 and h7 but black can fix both at once with h5.
Black's other answer to h3 is h5, but then white h2 is good to capture the g2 4 stones (actually there's a ko for more advanced players to find).
