Houdini passed away early hours this morning, after almost 9 amazing years together. Her cause of death we believe was egg binding combined with old age. Vinny, Pete, Lokie & Houdini's "Buddy" are all doing well.

I have a dilemma about Buddy, I am uncertain as to if I should get him another companion budgie, or release him into a family friends aviary, he has always had other birds around and he's not a tame bird.

Any advice on that situation would be appreciated.

Two Japanese white-eyes came to eat our mulberries this morning. We've had doves, sparrows, light-vented bulbuls and crested mynas before, but this was the first time I've seen Japanese white-eyes visit. They look like macha mochi and are extremely cute.
