My first cat was a void and it was the first pet to pass away from me, so voids have a big place in my heart.
My Scotty will be the older void over the rainbow bridge and I’m sure he will show both the way.
My family did the same for our almost-19 year old when it was her time. It was peaceful and she was comfortable and safe at home. It's no less painful to lose them, but there is comfort in saying goodbye at home

I am so sorry. My heart breaks for you. I said goodbye to my boy in February. I still talk to him, even just so I don’t forget the way his name sounded when I called him. I hate that it’s this hard.

I feel just how heartbroken you must be right through our phones. I lost my MissBoo (Boozy) May 29th and it feels just like yesterday. I still see her in the corner of my eyes, beebopping around:-). Time goes by so slowly that my mourning pounds my emotions like waves. I'll call you a Friend for I know there will be a light at the end of this tunnel. He looks like a handsome devil I've got juvenile delinquent that looks just like him and can't even fathom what losing him would be like. Most cats have a hard life and you gave this one a good life and you and me aren't going anywhere so we are going to love a bunch of meow-meows before we die
