It's so interesting that my cat manages to live in everybody else's house at the same timeπ. He is a rescue as well! But the cat rescue confirmed that his mom is a Norwegian forest cat. They think he might be mixed with Maine Coon, but I can't be sure (although that would explain the size).

All about the black. I've been trying to figure out if my kitty has some Maine Coon or something, cause her siblings are huge and they all have thick undercoats.

The cat rescue I got him from thought that his dad might be a Maine Coon, so maybe? His mom is a Norwegian forest cat.

Do you by chance know if your void is of a particular breed? I just wonder, because my void looks very similar, but we picked her up from the street 5 years ago.

He is from a cat rescue that took in his mom. So it is confirmed that his mom is a Norwegian forest cat, and they thought his dad might be a Maine Coon, but I don't know. I don't think he looks like a Norwegian forest cat at all.

The funny thing is I saw the resemblance with a Norwegian forest cat because of fur density and length, especially at tail, and it was my primary suspicion. Thank you for your answer!

I don't knowπ he's half Norwegian forest cat, and maybe Main Coon (which would explain the size), but I can't be sure.

I had his long lost Twin/Cuzzy and I named him Puff Catty. We just called him Puff and he lived 15 years. He was/is one of the sweetest, kindest creatures I ever encountered.
Give him a huge hug for us.

Oh, I'm so sorry for your loss! I lost one of my other cats this summer, and he was 19! So I understand the pain! I'll give this one a few extra hugs π€
