frowny only has 5 more weeks of crate rest!

finally been 3 weeks since surgery for her luxating patella, but we’re not even halfway there yet :( i’ve been having to wake up at 4-6am to sleep beside her crate. but we did take her flower pillow cone off! as long as she doesn’t lick the incision too much she can keep it off

she also HATESSSS her meds. she takes 1 liquid med in the morning and 2 at night, but one of them just tastes so bad to her that she foams at the mouth. scared the shit out of me the first time she did it. i’m so ready for this to be over with

i’m also hoping i made the right decision to do surgery, hopefully she’s able to move and run normally after she’s healed. she’s only 3 and is usually such an active cat

dude giving cats liquid medicine is the WORST my void also foams at the mouth. I got it in pill form instead, he is also an asshole about taking pills but at least he doesn’t spit half of it out

in the past she did better with liquid and that’s why i went with it this time, i thought about trying pills instead but the liquid meds were like $60 so i also don’t want to waste it

my void is also confined after surgery, also on week 3 :( it's tough, but we'll get through! just one day at a time

how long does yours have left of crate rest? it’s been so difficult. it doesn’t help that it’s right in the middle of tornado season so in the last 3 days we’ve had to go to a safer place for a few hours :/ that’s really added to the stress of it all
