Discuss This was supposed to be such a powerful and impactful scene only to be ruined by her acting

Post image

Imagine if someone like Sanya Malhotra or mrunal would have done the scene. The scene would have been on fire. I can already imagine the intensity in sanya's eyes while doing the scene. This girl Sara ruined the whole movie for me. I was absolutely heartbroken when I saw she was the main culprit at the end. She totally wasted the character and the movie.

Dude. You post about her everyday. You're obsessed or a PR guy. Either way it's just ridiculous. Give it a rest already.

Absolutely! Maybe this is the nepo baby herself. Every other post from OP is about The Oscar winning actor.

Would really love to hear the behind the scenes/off the record version of the Director here.

Did he/she just give up? Or did they actually think this was really good acting? Did they think they could salvage this on the editing board? Replace the character with a VFX anime version?

Forget the actor, but the director is responsible for approving the scene. It is his job on the line as well. How does one just accept it and pass.

There must be a logical explanation for the whole thing.

Have heard many start actors mention they had to do multiple takes to get a scene right as the director was very strict or didn’t approve what was going on.

In the worst case the whole scene could have been re-written.

Directed a short film in college. There's only so much you can pull out of an actor. An artist either has the chops or they don't. At one point you have to give up and take the best of the bad takes. Films have huge budgets. They shoot for days and days for a four liner scene sometimes. This definitely wasn't a time related issue, but rather skill related.

This film was true mega shit. Idk why it’s brought up every other day. Yes Sara was unbearably bad in that scene. Till that scene, maybe she was okay but that scene truly was awfully acted. But even without Sara’s dampening histrionics, this movie would have been true shit. I just don’t get the point of discussion for awful movies like these so much. It was an awful movie. It’s not like Sara destroyed some masterpiece film here! I also blame the director for giving okay signal to this! Also OP you’re really obsessed with Sara. Ig you moved on to this sub from the hot takes one. Is this another attempt at rage-bait?

Which movie?

I just realised PR companies and IT cells also work on gig economies.

Perhaps you may want to name the movie instead of assuming everyone would’ve watched this trash. Also, try to be complete in your communication- without naming the movie, you wrote a paragraph. Good writing means people shouldn’t be running around for basic info that must be in the paragraph. Peace

Thanks for sharing the link, I do not know the context but looks like she is in a role of a wife who is narcissist. Will need to watch full movie to judge her, but I feel it was good acting from her end by seeing this clip.
