New Discovery about Brain’s Lymph/Glymphatic System

https://news.ohsu.edu/2024/10/07/brains-waste-clearance-pathways-revealed-for-the-first-time

A newly published study revealed we have brain waste pathways, a set of glymphatic pathways, which filter/remove waste from the brain. As many of you may know, metabolic waste can cause cancer and this process is dependent on glial cells. So this may be a key discovery in preventing/understanding brain cancer as well as other horrible diseases such as Alzheimers & CTE.

Just wanted to spread a little hope! I hope everyone out there has a very blessed day! :)

Could this correlate to brain mets from other cancers that impact the bodies elimination of waste?

To be honest, I am not sure. I would assume yes, as this is just like the lymphatic system of the body!
