Where can I find a matching base/cradle for a Wards Cast Iron waffle iron?

I recently picked up a set of Wards Cast Iron waffle iron plates (marked "PAT'D SEPT. 15 - 1925" and "Montgomery Ward") — they’re in great shape, but I’m missing the base/cradle that they would have originally sat in for stovetop use.

Does anyone know where I could find a matching base for these? I’ve been checking eBay and Etsy for overpriced options, but haven’t had much luck finding just the cradle by itself. Are there any specific collector sites, subreddits, or sellers you’d recommend for vintage cast iron parts like this? Would a base from a different brand potentially be compatible? I believe these were made by Wagner, so maybe a Wagner base could also work.

Appreciate any help or leads — would love to get these back into action!

That looks identical to my Wagner Ware 1408 waffle iron with a low base, even down to the patent date! Here’s an example.

I’ve seen folks mix and match the Wagner high and low bases, so depending on you budget and what you’re doing in the next 21 minutes, there’s this one on eBay.

Thanks! I thought about getting that but can't justify spending that much when I got the plates for about $30.

Are there any markings on your Wagner base?

Yeah, on the bottom, it has an A at 12 o-clock on the rim and underneath that, in the indent formed by the hinge cradle, it says C H

try https://www.etsy.com/shop/IronGuardFinds (Market Minutes on here) and another place is on Facebook under Patriot Cast Iron and Cutlery where people sell things and I've seen some great things there. Either of those could point you in the right direction if they don't have it right now.
