Not saying I’d pay for a boost because I enjoy the game 1-40, but god damn I’ve taken about 20 characters 1-60.

I’ve earned it.

I actually enjoy leveling 1-30. 30-40 is horrible imo. Mainly did SM then. 40-60 is fun. Im currently 45. Not in a rush. Got enchanting to 225, tailoring to 252. Did my quests, did my dungeons. Went for some lvl appro. “bis” gear. I wouldnt pay for a boost. Classic is about the journey. If I wanna do end game things, I would launch retail. No offense tho. I understand that someone just wants to raid in classic with a 150 hours long grind. Im only upset because boosting and RMT in general fucks up economy. Look at era. Sadge view

I don’t raid. Generally I gear twinks in different brackets of WSG and that’s my end game.

Oh I’m sure people have it figured out to a T which brackets for which classes. I’m not that person, but I dominated the leaderboards in WSG up to level 29 as a mage. Would spend the entire match taking on 3 plus enemies and often the same 3 give or take because they’d get so frustrated from being kited and killed that they’d keep coming back. Blink into the middle of a skirmish and just start popping off arcane explosion and kill everyone who stays in range.

My PUG’s won most the time with the (major) exception being premade groups.

Had a paladin in 20-29 and that wasn’t to bad. Minor run speed helped to be a battle field healer who was tough as hell to bring down. Unlike the mage they typically learned to ignore me and just try to kill faster than I could heal. Fun but nowhere near as much or as impactful as mage.

Had a 39 Druid for flag running. Travel form + no mounts was a lot of fun. Make sure you have a decent mana pool because you shift a lot if you’re actually running on the battle field. I didn’t do that as much but I remember a lot of times you‘d track other druids down and it would come down to who’s team showed up to help first.

30-40 is the best part, that's when you get to slam SM's. Even 40+ is fine because you've got ZF and Tanaris which are pretty cool. The worst is 50+ because ST is trash and BRD is fun but only the first few times. If you're an SGC or HoJ gamer, you're cooked. I got lucky in that I got my HoJ on the 24th run but I could've easily been in there for dozens more and there are plenty of people who reached triple digits for their SGC.

The quests are also incredibly cringe because there's not much left that's linear so you're ping ponging back and forth through a few zones and the they're all harsh with some of the most random mobs being scary for no reason at all.

What??? 40-50 is so horrible man.. only ZF but all the traveling to get quest xp and actually gain lvls at 40-50 is horrible. From 50 its so fast. Wpl, u goro, felwood , azdhars Winter spring epl is a blizz..

This is the way I've always seen it too. I'll roll up 1 or 2 characters (depending on how my friends are progressing) and just have fun. When I'm bored at 60, then I'll go back and get an alt caught up. Raidlogging sucks and I do just about everything I can to not hit that point.

adding a boost literally makes the world empty. Noone levels bc they could pay for 60 instantly. No character boost but lets be real all these sweaty idiots will cry for it and blizzard will do it anyway cause they are greedy fucks id rather them make us pay for the expansion again if they want to be greedy fucks which they are.

You did earn it but the people who have never played the class they boosted have not and grief the raid when they don't know how to play their class. At the bare minimum, they should only be allowed to buy a boosted character if they have a 55+ character like they did with death knights.

I wouldn't say the vast number of classic dps rotations take more than 10 seconds or so to learn. It's really not that big of a deal in classic to learn how to play in a raid environment

No one is griefing the raid in classic vanilla. They can all do the one button rotation.

Or make it to like 30 so you can get basic class concepts down, the option appears.
