Which class hard counters Rogues in a 1v1 open world scenario?

Seeing how toxic PvP servers are, there would be nothing more than to make a Rogue seethe in PvP. I'm think it's either hunters or warlocks but is there a best of the beat class to do the job well??

Paladin's have always been a hard counter to any mele class. But they are boring to lv in classic

Shamans give paladins a run. Ability to heal, interrupt, and proper totem use are all points in the favor of the Shaman.

No offense,but never had issues with my pala 1v1 shamans. I have played every class on the game and paladins toolkit can counter every shaman ability. The shamans shine when they hide behind the horde and spam chain lighting . What scared me as Paladin were warlocks,mages and warrior with heler. But Shamy is way funnier in vanilla then paladin but mail sucks in confront of plate

As a Shaman. I kinda agree, but my only stipulation is that paladins cannot kill shamans either. Paladins and shamans cannot counter each other.
