Classic 20th Anniversary Realms Which class hard counters Rogues in a 1v1 open world scenario?

Seeing how toxic PvP servers are, there would be nothing more than to make a Rogue seethe in PvP. I'm think it's either hunters or warlocks but is there a best of the beat class to do the job well??

This is fine if you’re specifically just trying to fuck rogues in 1v1. But in general I’d say having enrage is extremely good in pvp. It’s good against rogues too. And insane when you are getting healed.

Enrage is pretty strong, but 31/5/10 +5 is probably the best spec to roll with in open world and most PvP. If you’ve got support, then an 18/31/0 +2 build probably pulls ahead but you’re trading stun resist, axe spec, MS, option for Imp Hamstring, and full 2H weap spec for Enrage, Death Wish, Flurry, Bloodthirst, and Piercing Howl.

It’s a legitimate trade you can make. But for solo content, and especially if there’s potential PvP, I’d always roll with 31/5/10 +5.

?????????

I’ve almost always played 31/20 as to me it’s obviously the most balanced build in PvP. Looking online at icy veins or wowhead, 31/20 is listed as the cookie cutter, best, standard PvP spec. Not having enrage means you lose to any warrior 1v1, just so you can maybe luck into a win vs a rogue.

The idea of doing fury in group PvP is comical.

So yeah, idk, I’m taking your 31/5/10 with a big grain of salt.

I’ll concede that 31/5/10 being the best for general PvP is debatable, but its power against rogues and CC in general can’t be denied. I do specify its strength in open world where you’re at risk from ganks that it can save you from. 31/20 is of course more powerful with Enrage, but I would say that’s best for organized or group PvP where you don’t need the stun resist.

I don’t really know why I suggested 18/31, it’s an odd setup.
