Figuring out how to go to college part time and work

I'll be going back to school in the fall. I've been at my current job for a year and it's pretty stable but it's honestly so emotionally draining I often think about quitting on the spot. My dilemma with leaving is it's been very difficult to find jobs who allow you to be part time and don't pay like $10/hr. I don't have any skills outside of the veterinary field hence why I can't just do some skilled trade labor on the side, and most veterinary places want full time techs anyways

fast food, i make 18/hr (mlcol midwest) and they work with my availability. states like california and washington likely pay higher.

Personally I work at Target.

A lot of my siblings have worked at my store and so I already knew the management would be flexible. The flexibility very much depends on the store and its management. This is just my experience.

If have good grades, you might be able to become a tutor at your school. Not sure about pay but they are always going to be more flexible (that goes for any on campus job)

Thanks. I'm not sure if I could survive standing all day which is one of the reasons I've avoided retail and food service. Would probably end up sitting when there's nothing to do and get fired

Personally, I hate standing in one place but in my position I walk around enough where I feel good but not drained.

One of my friends has worked at the DMV and a receptionist at a gym. Those are two other ideas that would probably involve more sitting.

I work full time and study full time. I just concentrate all my classes either in the morning or evening OR I put them all within a 2 day span (so I go to school from like 8am to 10:30pm kinda back to back). I see what setup is available with my classes. I also pair harder classes with easier electives so I don't get screwed. Virtual classes help too.

I typically work either 4 10-hr shifts or a few closing shifts

Yes, I've been looking at the course options for my first semester and quite a few classes meet once a week including the lab portion of the class
