The "debunk": some YouTube video with 40,000 views from a channel called TheWestWillRise88

u/66allthe88s 12h ago
They always have 88 in their name for some reason...

u/Gandalf_Style 12h ago
In case you didn't know, it's a dogwhistle for Adolf Hitler. H is the 8th letter of the Alphabet so 88 is "Heil Hitler"

u/66allthe88s 12h ago
Another fun fact. Hold down Alt on your keyboard and type 88.
Curious the letter that pops up. Could just be a coincidence.

The debunk is "People actually believe this, look at this, who would believe such a thing? You can't believe this if you're smart" and that's their whole debunk. No facts, since facts would reject their claim. No objective statements just laughing and claims people are stupid and these people think they have the high ground, because their own audience is floor level and they have reached carpet level.

These people would assert that oxygen has been debunked if they saw it in a youtube conspiracy video.

u/EitanBlumin 14h ago
Only if it served Nazi interests, though

u/Remarkable-Pin-8352 14h ago
“Oxygen is a lie invented by a Jewish cabal to make humans age and die. Hitler uncovered the truth in 1938 after he found he could survive by not breathing and that’s why the Globalists conspired to destroy him.”
No need for an /s right?
Right?

One in five Americans is functionally illiterate and over 50% of Americans can't read above a sixth grade level.

You can't be the president of the United States unless you're religious. American religions are averse to reading (any thing contradictory to the Bible-- so basically the hard sciences, history and social sciences, Harry Potter, etc.) and education. This country is purposefully anti-intellectual.

Holy fuck ! I knew literacy was bad in the US, but I never thought this was that bad

It's definitely an incredibly scary situation, but I'm sorry:
unless your religious
using the possessive "your" instead of "you're" in a post about lack of literacy was funny to me.

This is the result of over 50 years of Republicans attacking and defunding education

A lot of American Christians seem pretty disinterested in reading their bible as well. Probably because a lot of the text doesn’t support their hateful beliefs, so it’s lot simpler to just worship Trump as their god instead.

Once you see enough MAGA posts you will believe that an idiot will believe ANYTHING.

u/CaptainKortan 12h ago
Well, I mean they couldn't believe something simple like Oxygen doesn't exist, that would just be...
Reads other comments and follows links.
... Oh, so somehow it benefits the Jewish cabal to make people believe in oxygen... And this somehow shortens our lives?
IT ALL MAKES SENSE NOW! I MUST LEARN MORE! AND.. I CAN ACTUALLY READ IT!!
Knowing that means I'm over 60%, which is passing.

I no joke had a guy at my bar say, "we are basing history from Anne franks diary," like he thinks that's the only evidence people are using for proof of the holocaust.

People really open up after a couple of beers. You realize real fast they don't know anything and are heavily misinformed.

u/dansdata 11h ago
Nobody's only an asshole because they're drunk. They always want to be an asshole; alcohol just gives them an excuse.

u/Systemofadale 11h ago
Oh I know I'm a bar manager at a brewery. I'm just saying he started talking about it after having a few.
6
u/thesixfingerman 12h ago
Normalizing that kind of talk is step 1 for them. They will keep claiming their version is “true” until nothing else can be heard.

u/Mr_Terry-Folds 11h ago
Yeah, big part of the comment section there (and even of big part of the sub itself) seems to just trying to normalize talking about him and "seeing his good side". Some even call what he did "small mistakes". 🤮

But I haven't seen them so that means they don't exist.

I'm only familiar with the description you gave of how it is, and don't know what you're referring to as "We thought" (previously I guess).
I know they told them they're going to shower and to remove their clothes, and made them go into the chamber. Or in another case used the gas that came out of the train to kill anyone transported on the train.

Like there is literally so much physical evidence still there (like in one camp there is a trail of burned bones) that anyone who thinks its fake is Beyond stupid and just Evil.

u/Grouchy-Big-229 12h ago
Exactly! It’s like you didn’t see Pearl Harbor or an atomic bomb explode over two Japanese cities. Are those things false too?

People who confuse "conspiracy" and "conspiracy theory" annoys me as much as people who write "should of" instead of "should have"

I'm sorry my English is not my first language, I confuse between worse things too.
