Every time I get a flashback of her voice, “thoughts”, and (in)actions, I feel blessed.

To think she would have been dictating to us about why we all need to pay more taxes for green energy, and equity/forced racism is💋 .

By the time she left office, we would be adding a trillion in interest to our debt each month.

🙏🏼

Yet there is not a word said about the steps Biden took to sabotage the incoming administration.

It’s “up” in the sense that there are more dollars on the spreadsheet, but four years of high inflation has rendered those dollars significantly less valuable.

The US dollar lost 17.8% of its value to currency inflation while Joe Biden was president, so when you compare your portfolio balance today to your balance in 2021, subtract out 17.8% to create a fair comparison.

If your retirement account went up by 21% (you didn’t give the exact amount), then your actual increase is only about 3%… and that includes all the contributions you made during that time.

Juat within my lifetime the USD has lost about 90% of its value.  In other words, an item that cost $1 on the day I was born costs about $10 today.

Inflation renders head-to-head comparisons useless.  An extreme example is that average people at the end of the Weimar Republic were billionaires… but they weren’t rich because it took a wheelbarrow full of high-denomination bills to buy a loaf of bread (if they could find any for sale).

It's not a frame job. His tariffs are an awful idea. Even Ted Cruz went on an interview talking about how the tariffs would hurt the economy and Rand Paul did as well. He is digging his own grave.

So now you want to listen to Ted Cruz? All I’ve heard on Reddit is how he is an idiot so if that’s true then him being against tariffs shows how great they are. Chew on that.

Yeah all the stock markets tanking and the prices of everything skyrocketing give me great confidence in his tariffs

The circle jerk that is high finance isn’t the barometer I’d use to understand how a policy will affect me long term. The fact of the matter is that the US has been bent over a barrel for too long and it is now negatively effecting our way of life. This may not be the goose that Trump makes it out to be, but at least he’s making populous moves, something no president has done in more than 30 years.

He's killing our alliances with almost every country and we're heading towards a recession! He also looks like he's going to get us into an unnecessary World War as well because he wants to annex Greenland. That's what I call progress!

Alliances, for what and against what? Friends don’t come over take your food and leave your front door open. Your comment about world war and Greenland are hysterical, so I’ll leave that with you.

Allies to fight with us in case we get in a World War against China for example. Also why do you think that this is hilarious? He just said a week or two ago that he thought that we would, "Annex Greenland by Force". Also right before becoming president he said that he wouldn't rule out taking military action against Greenland

I said it’s hysterical, and it is - check your sources on Greenland, lol. You’re worried about tariffs upsetting our “allies” and believe a hot war with china is not only possible, but feasible. You do not understand the criticality of a prosperous west, and what it means to the financial welfare to the entire world. You should reconsider your positions, not change them, only understand what your conclusions actually mean.

No I'm actually worried about tariffs upsetting our allies AND sending us onto a recession/depression. Just look at the stock market. Also it's going to rise prices exponentially.

When it comes to Greenland, he was quoted as saying, "I never take using military force off the table when it comes to Greenland".

Now you’re changing your position, which is allowed, but it’s bad faith. Furthermore, you’re failing to prove how any of these nations are in fact allies. The US is moving in a way of self preservation, are they supporting this? No. A true allie would concede to terms, it is our house after all.

To you later point, it’s the digital gate, you can watch the q&a…you can derive what you want - but let’s be clear military and economic coercion is not synonymous with invasion.
