Discussion Any ARGs/Horror series similar to dr.b0sch?
I have been really interested in the idea of video games having sections of the game that are not supposed to be seen by the player and I have seen countless Minecraft, Roblox, Gmod ARGs and while those are fun and intriguing, I was wondering if there were any ARGs that are lesser known and of high quality. I haven't seen anything that takes place in the Elder scrolls games which I believe would be really interesting.
This might or might not be the best place to ask but does anyone have any recommendations? Thank you!

Oooh! If you're looking into Elder Scrolls stuff, it's not an ARG, but Jvk1166z.esp might scratch your itch. It's a creepypasta/short story about a bizarre, mysterious and creepy Morrowind mod. It just has excellent atmosphere in my view, giving you just enough to get your mind racing and leaving enough mystery to make you crave more without getting frustrated that you don't get all the answers.
I also really, really love that it's got a few screenshots, which helps making it feel more real. And there's no corny cliché about the mod taking over your body, speaking to you in nightmares, taking over your whole computer or whatever, just someone saying "I found this weird thing, I'm not sure what it's about and I would like to figure it out".
Also, don't quote me on that but I believe it is referenced by the Elder Scrolls devs themselves in Skyrim, as NPCs will sometimes advise you to "watch the skies, traveller".

Check Shipwrecked 64, it's literally this. Starts as a 90's game for kids restored by faithful fans, then you unlock the original version and... well, things get pretty fucked up from there. There are sections you aren't supposed to see, heavy ARG elements like ciphers, out-of-the-game videos and sites, etc.

I asked a similar question some time back, i loved that ARG... probably the best one I've seen.
One good recommendation is Interloper, its a Gmod / half life ARG and also had a similar case of going out of bounds. I believe in Interloper they have the idea that going out of bounds leads you to the maps of other source engine games like TF2.
As for lesser known ones, I'm not really sure but there's a gap for those. I'd love to see an innocent game have a dark and intriguing out of bounds.
