Around 1am they shut down the top floor dance rooms, made everyone go to the basement, and then made everyone go home like 15 mins early. A security guard who brought us out coats said a girl bit him?? Does anyone know what happened?

What was the final number of protesters for the protest downtown at the capital?

When I look at the news sites they are saying a way smaller number of people than what it felt like. We were trying to guess and everyone had different numbers.

The Cosmos, Shakespeare, and Your Park: This Week in Civic Center

Upvotes

Need a date night idea for this week? Want a fun friend activity? We have you covered this week at Civic Center Park with our last STARGAZE event of the season on Wednesday night from 8pm - 10pm, followed by six performances of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” by The Agenda Theatre running Thursday - Sunday.

Believe it or not, there are plenty of celestial neighbors to view from the heart of the city! Join Civic Center Conservancy and AstroTours on the main promenade of Denver’s Civic Center Park on Wednesday, April 9 from 8 - 10 pm in our own backyard. Accessible to all ages, you’ll learn from skilled astronomers about the wonders of the cosmos, constellations and their folklore, and observe the moon and other celestial bodies through multiple high powered telescopes. Timed tickets are only $5 per person and kids 5 and under are free with a paying adult. If you can’t afford the $5 tickets, we offer FREE tickets for folks that need accessible tickets. In addition, ice cream from Sweet Action and warm beverages from Astro Coffee Van will be available for purchase to round out an enchanting evening.

Get more information and buy tickets, or find info to request free tickets, at https://civiccenterpark.org/events/civic-center-stargaze/.

Who said Shakespeare had to be stuffy and boring? Not when you tell it from a Queer perspective! Join The Agenda Theatre, a POC and Queer company, as they present “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” at the Greek Theatre on Thursday and Friday at 7pm, and Saturday and Sunday at 2pm and 7pm. Tickets are only $20 each and can be purchased at https://www.theagendatheatre.com/performances.

Did anyone else see a meteor? I’m in central centennial and was looking east. The meteor traveled north to south at about a 40 degree angle.

Edit: it was about a 110 degree angle.
