I genuinely like it! Five Nights at Freddy’s has a special place in my heart! The pen choice matches Freddy perfectly and the lines are smooth and consistent. Simple, but well done. The shading in the first one is satisfying and the I like the darker outlining in the second one. Both are great!

Pretty sure this is digital

It is! I wasn’t clear, I meant the digital pen choice

Oh okay it sounded like you were critiquing it as physical art over digital with the lines being “smooth and consistent” so that’s where the confusion was.

Sorry this wasn’t supposed to bring you down or anything, just being realistic that it seems you’re very early in your craft. These are very simple digital sketches. They aren’t bad but there’s not much to say about it really, and I’m just answering your question. Keep it up, I’d love to see you progress.

Simple doesn’t always mean the art isn’t good. The shapes and shading are very clean

I definitely agree that simple doesn’t always mean the art isn’t good. I do find it hard to critique the lines being clean and consistent when it comes to digital art because that can be made that way automatically.

Ik is pretty simple I didn’t realy spend much time on it but I can show you some of my slightly more realistic but more sketchy drawings if you want
Also Dw abt it bro I think it’s good I’m also getting some critique therefore I can improve my art skill to MAXIMUM POTENTIAL WHAVHSJSBVDB Jk lol but seriously I appreciate your comments and critiquing
Uh also um… The rest of the art on this subreddit is very detailed compared to my cartoony art style so I think I mighta just posted this in the wrong place a lil bit but y’all seem to like it anyway so idk

This is actually so cool I love the texture and folds of the green “skin”! The proportions on the Bonnie (2nd image) are very nice

You didn’t post in the wrong place… you posted a digital drawing and asked for others opinion on it and then you received others opinions on it. If the reason you feel that you posted in the wrong place is because not every response is praising your drawing, then I think what you should prioritize working on, along with your drawings, is your ability to take criticism after you’ve asked for criticism. One of the first things you learn in art (in my experience) is how to give and receive a critique. If you just want to show it off and don’t want it to hear opinions then just don’t ask for them.

I agree with others that it is a very simple drawing and it’s hard to gauge skills off it. But I can say that I noticed the eyelids make a huge difference in what the face projects. Were you going for an innocent Freddy?

Definitely innocent Freddy that’s why I removed them
