I just hatched my first baby duck!
This is the first of 4 and my very first time hatching. I just wanted to share. π The way it's snuggling with the other eggs is so cute.

Sweet baby. I love the first 24 hours after they hatch, because they are just so sleepy and snuggly ππ

What was your humidity at during lockdown?

65% was the highest I could get it

Glad to know that works! Metzer recommends on their site 81% RH and while mine is currently 57-58% right now I felt like that was a huge jump.

I've read so many sources on what humidity to use and several of them say different things. I tried to get the humidity up as best as I could but it stayed 65% consistently. I've read that even as low as 60% works too.

My heart π₯Ί he's so lonely waiting on his friends to join him (or her) they've all pipped so I'm fairly confident they'll all hatch.
