blood clot. probably technically edible but i really doubt it tastes good. i'd just cut off that section of the meat and still use the rest.

I started cutting up a ham and ended up packing it all back up in a trashbag and taking it back to the store after finding multiple dark reddish blobs. I think they were lymph glands and the rest of the ham was possibly edible, but after I found like the third one my brain just noped the F out on the idea of consuming it.

I’m not suggesting the blob in OP’s roast is a lymph gland - sounds like it’s a blood clot from the comments on the original post - I’m not even certain that the ones in my ham were definitively lymph glands. I just remembered I had the photo and figured I’d add my gross little contribution to the thread.

These were in a pre-packaged ham from a major brand and were not visible from the outside. I’m more icked out by OP’s photo since that looks like it was packaged at the store where they bought it and should never have been offered to customers. Ew.

Guess he did not mention i meant his name. But unfortanetly I think a Bot is not capable to do this…
