Evidence Ordered a wrap at Starbucks via mobile and requested a pack of sriracha sauce. Thought they forgot it until I took a bite of my wrap..

I’m sorry and I know this sucks but this actually made me nearly piss myself laughing. How does this even happen? Either you must’ve unintentionally pissed an employee off or the baristas are railing ketamine

I’m glad you had a good laugh at this haha. I don’t think I did anything to piss anyone off. I had no interaction as this was a mobile order and I quickly went in to pick up my wrap. It was until I got to work that I realized.

I'm pretty sure they forgot it until the last second.
The bags for the wraps are really narrow, so when they shoved the sauce in it, it went right into the wrap, which is open on one end.
Normally, the sauce goes in the bag first or you use the sticker to tape it to the outside.Source: I worked there for a year.

used to be a starbucks partner — these wraps come pre-packaged and frozen. all the baristas do is unwrap them from the plastic and throw them in the oven, then straight into a bag. needless to say i’m absolutely fucking stumped as to how the hell that packet got in there 💀

I’m betting op probably put it in there for the picture. That happens way more often than you’d think with viral posts. But I guess there’s no way to really tell if they are lying or not.

I can see why you think that but I promise you this shit actually happened lmfao I don’t use Reddit like that. Just thought I could make a few of you laugh

Okay, my apologies! I just thought this was kinda crazy, plus what the person said. But tbh I can kind of see it happening with the way fast food workers are sometimes haha.

Somebody threw it in the bag and it fell into the void of the sandwich instead

The prepackaged frozen food that gets warmed up? Why would they put the packet inside? No one would actually do that regardless. Nice karma post

This reminds me of the time I ordered a mcrib from McDonald's and said "with no onions or anything" and the person took it 100% literally and gave me a bun with barbecue sauce on it.
The manager tried to say people actually order it like that but it was hard for him to keep a straight face. People's stupidity astounds me, honestly.

Well,…
Food prep workers count
as UNSKILLED LABOR.
Adding:
Hey, I understand the confusion here. My brother worked at McDonalds in high school, and I worked stints as a short order cook at diners during college.
But the matter of fact is that Food Prep workers is considered by the US government, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, as Unskilled Workers.
See my sources below, from just searching in Google, Are Fast Food jobs considered Unskilled Workers?
I definitely don’t agree with that, having experienced it myself. But the qualifications for that category of employment is that it’s a job that requires little training, or formal education, and no certifications or degrees required.
Here’s what I agree with.

Can't tell if you being sarcastic or not, but in the off chance you are, I just wanna say that if I had a dollar for every time somebody said this statement genuinely to just about anybody working a job at minimum wage level (even the ones they try to pass off as "entry level" but they be requiring some mad shit), I wouldn't be needing a job anymore. I'd be a rich mf.

Not to do your research for you, but then, it just took less than a 5 minute Google search to confirm this.
Employment as a Fast Food Worker May Not Be Substantial Gainful Activity
The fast food industry is a common employer in the United States, with an estimated 3.8 million employees last year [2018]. The Bureau of Labor Statistics considers it to be unskilled, light duty work, noting key requirements of general math and comprehension skills, customer service, and understanding of food procedures.
Unskilled Workers: What Jobs Do Not Require Any Qualifications?
Many claim that unskilled workers have a limited skill set. But the truth is, the term “unskilled” only refers to the level of professional expertise required for a job.
It is often used by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics to categorize work. […]
There are many industries employing unskilled workers, including food service, hospitality, and agriculture.
The list below includes a few examples of unskilled labor positions, but there are many other industries to explore: * Cleaner * Food preparation worker * Retail clerk * Delivery driver * Hospitality worker * Dishwasher * Housekeeper * Car wash attendant * Harvester or picker * Babysitter * Cashier * Parking lot attendant * Agricultural worker * Warehouse worker
Unskilled, Semi-Skilled, and Skilled Labor Defined
Unskilled labor refers to workers who possess no particular skills and likely have no formal education. This type of work usually involves simple duties that don’t require judgment. In some cases, unskilled labor requires physical strength and exertion. Unfortunately, unskilled labor jobs are dwindling due to technological advancements leaving fewer and fewer jobs for these types of workers. A few examples of these types of jobs still around include grocery clerks, maids, fast food workers, janitors, and parking lot attendants.
Fast Food Cook is skilled no more!
However, Fast Food Cook is now classified in ONET (under code 35-2011.00) as semi-skilled–to–unskilled work with a Specific Vocational Preparation of below 4 (indicating less than 3 months of training required) indicating a substantial change in the job. *The occupation of Fast Food Cook is clearly now no longer considered skilled work and may not even be semi-skilled,** but the ONET description of how skilled the occupation of Fast Food Cook is not very specific. In contrast, the Occupational Outlook Handbook and the “Education and Training Assignments by Detailed Occupation” table are considerably more specific as to what degree of training is actually required to be a Fast Food Cook these days. The Occupational Outlook Handbook indicates that “[m]ost cooks learn their skills through on-the-job training, usually lasting a few weeks,” which sounds like the definition of unskilled work (which requires only a month or less of training). Lastly, the Bureau of Labor Statistics, in the “Education and Training Assignments by Detailed Occupation” table, indicates that Fast Food Cooks (under code 35-2011) require “[n]o formal educational credential,” no work experience, and only “[s]hort-term on-the-job training,” which refers to job training of only a month or less. *Thus, the occupation of Fast Food Cook is demonstrably skilled no more!**
I’m not gonna wade through government legalese to find where the BLS specifically state this, but yes, unfortunately, Food Prep/Fast Food Laborers are classified as Unskilled Workers.
But I don’t agree with that. See my added statement above.

I'm glad that, despite the damning evidence that this country likes to put down minimum wage employees, you are still in agreement that whatever is considered "little training" in fast food or service industries, it should not be seen as menial work that people should be paid more reasonably. Thank you for clearing this up.
This government blows dicks.
That babysitter one is wild tho! You deadass need to already have experience with children to even consider yourself able to do that kinda thing. This whole thing just gets crazier.
