Discussion Got off work today to find this
Got off my shift today, very excited to go home and lie down, only to find this.
Someone hit my car in the parking lot and took off, no note. Thankfully, there are cameras on this lot.

i was gonna say thankfully it looks like only the bumper but the trunk is damaged too. hopefully the cameras get a good visual of who hit you/their own damage is noticeable to catch them.

Trunk opens fine thankfully, but they did get the top of the left tail light too (scraped up pretty good, surprised it didn’t break) and paint near that area

Scumbags.
People that get caught for hit and runs like this should have their license taken away permanently.
Either be a fuckin responsible adult and own up to your grown arse mistake or risk a lifetime ban. If they have no license a 10k fine plus the cost of all repairs.

With the latter, if the money isn't there and there's nothing for the bailiffs, unfortunately you'll just have $5-10 a week garnished from your benefits of wages. Meaning the victim won't see any of that money or those repairs.

To be honest, payment for the hit car plus payment into a scheme to compensated those hit who didn't find culprit or where culprit couldn't pay. This debt would stick with the recipient even beyond bankruptcy.

I second this i have the a 229 pro front and back and i swear it is amazing. Pretty easy to set up too.

Nothing more infuriating than a mystery hit and run. Lost my truck that way. Woke up one day to find my truck parked in the yard because they hit it so hard. 10k in damages. Had to sell it

Had thousands of dollars of damages done to my brand new (like two month old) truck by some monkey student who hit me and ran. No cameras or nothing, so I’m left with the bill since insurance loves to not pay for repairs 🥰
