Found this in a small boutique spirit store in Taipei and wondering if anyone has tried?

Been working in Martin Miller's Westbourne Gin, and found it to be an excellent non junipery gin.
Lighthouse Gin and Jin Jiji India Dry Gin are entirely new to me. Both were on sale for less than $30 a bottle and have neat bottles.
Think I will try Lighthouse first for a New Zealand off with Marting Miller's.
Have a nice weekend everyone!
Just got these on my way home from Europe, wanted to know if I got a good deal or not.

Any other U.S. gin drinkers stocking up on their favorite imported gins before the tariffs increase prices dramatically?

It's my first time writing a review and English is not my native language but I hope it's still a good review.
This is a very interesting and special tasting gin. With 59.7% it warms you from the inside. I tasted it pure and with Fever Tree dry tonic to compare the change in tast. It has a golden color from the aging in the first fill barrel.
Nose: It's has the typical smell from the Juniper with some grapefruit sourness mixed with the typical vanilla oak from Whiskey.
Pure: it's starts pretty strong with the oak and juniper followed by a sour tast of grapefruit and a hint of vanilla. The spiciness of the alcohol is followed by a green pepper tast and some honey at the end.
G&T mixed 40ml gin to 160ml Tonic: The grapefruit notes come out stronger than before and the alcohol almost disappears. The notes like the honey and vanilla are a bit more noticeable. It still has a pleasant oak tast from the whiskey barrel.
All in all it's a amazing gin that is different to almost anything else I've tried (really worth buying) . It's works well pure and as a G&T for summer or if you don't like the strong alcohol tast (60% punches like hell in this gin).

So in about 3 months I will graduate with a bachelors in Aerospace Engineering. To celebrate this my friends and I decided to buy some sort of special alcohol be it in terms of taste or bottle aesthetics to celebrate and mark this occasion.
So far the most popular contender is the Engine Organic Gin, purely because we are becoming engineers. It looks cool and from a cursory read it seems like it tastes good as well, and its not a bank buster either.
However we still have 3 months so what alcohol bottle (we have a preference for gin cause its +++++) is a cool mark for graduation, we care for taste but not toooooo much and also def has to be a bit budget friendly. Maximum is probably like 40-50EUR. Our go-to gin right now is Gordons Pink and Tanquery dry.

What do yall use to mix with it? Since it had Quinone in it im adverse to mixing it with traditional tonic water.

There's some stuff floating and cloudiness. New unopened bottle of store bought gin.

I just got this delivered, so haven’t tried it yet, but was surprised/not expecting to see all sorts of floaters.

A really nice surprise found at a local grocery store for $29. Neat, it’s got a spicy hit that finishes with a light fennel taste.
Over ice, the botanicals mellow into an earthy, warm vegetal note that’s right up my alley. Enjoying it with an after work G&T now.
I scooped 3 bottles of this when it launched this morning. I’ve been pretty impressed with their limited run vermouth offerings! Looking forward to my next martini night with friends. This might be taking savory martinis too far, but we’ll see!

Discovered this cool looking bottle at one of the local liquor stores here in Las Vegas (Lee's Liquors) where I went with the sole purpose of getting some new gin to try.
This is a dry South African gin & is more anise forward, with juniper taking a back seat. But anise in a subtle absinthe way, and less Sambuca tasting.
In a G&T, specifically with Fevertree Mediterranean Tonic, it's amazing. They compliment each other perfectly.
Definitely looking forward to trying this in a Martini and Negroni as well.

I have a bottle of the Eden mill milk thistle scottish rugby gin that was produced just pre COVID. And as far as I am awesome they are not made or sold anywhere anymore. So just wondering if I should just drink it or hold on to it 😆 thanks

Thought this garnish and gin combo looked too good not to share.

I tried lots of gins and navy gins but never had one that was this close to 60%. Description translated with Google from the german importer.
The palate initially reveals the citrus aroma already present on the nose, followed by an almost salty note and a hint of green pepper. This is followed by a hint of licorice, but also freshly cut wood, and again the fresh and tangy impression of fizzy powder. Later, you can taste mountain pine candy, lemon curd, and a subtle vanilla sweetness, followed by subtle honey and green woodruff jelly. The finish is very long and intense with distinct aromas of citrus and a fine oak spice. The whiskey cask has already imparted some aromas to the gin, but the basic character, dominated by citrus notes, is still very clear.

2 years ago I got this bottle from a friend for my Birthday. Was cleaning out a cabinet today and I found it (unopened). I thought this whole time it was mistakenly thrown away after my party.
Time to celebrate!

I’m a big whiskey and bourbon guy, but I’ve never had a sip of gin, ever. What would a gin aficionado say is a great place to start? I don’t want a gin that will remind me of bourbon or whiskey or has similar characteristics, I want the quintessential gin experience for my first try so I have something of a baseline as a point of reference. Also, I’d like to be in the $50-$75 range if at all possible. If you think a great gin can be had for less, feel free to drop that recommendation as well!

I would be so appreciative if anyone has recommendations as to a good gift gin (can be pricier - but maybe max $80?). Giftee drinks gin straight or on the rocks. Their go-to and general favourite is Tanqueray. They don't like really floral or aromatic gins, or gins with special flavourings. Also, we are in Ontario and I'd love if I could buy this locally!
