Asking Question (Rule 4) How to present this in a portfolio?

Genuinely wondering here, I'm working on a personal project to put in my portfolio - this is originally not chosen by my group so might as well work on it alone. It's a THC-infused drink and I know you're supposed to have the THC label with all the stuff by law.

Question stands, how do I present the flat wraps for the can label in a portfolio? Should I keep the labels, just keep it the wrap... both maybe just to show where things would theoretically go? Any help as well as work criticism is appreciated!

(second slide is how the label is supposed to look like, just for fun and all)

One way I've seen work is you would do the mock up on the can exactly as you have it, with the legal and nondesign items not shown. For alcohol and wine products that don't have the boring nutrition facts and legal/disclaimer stuff, you'd rotate the can slightly to show the entire wrap. You'd have 2 or 3 cans in the same shot, like this.

Another way I've seen is exactly like you have your label in your first image, but you'd overlay your can mockup on top of it, like this:

Just show both, if your talking about a physical portfolio, make it 2 pages or 1 page, with the flat and 3d.
I think the biggest issue i see here is, the emboss fx on that dragon-pineapple type.

Honestly good question. I've had similar question in the past and what I enjoy doing is browsing what other label/product branding designers are doing. Take a few hours and search through Behance or Dribbble. See what they're doing.

I would imagine all of the above and more. Bottle/can mock-ups, some one drinking a can, the can on a shelf, single labels...etc.

You could print on a high quality sticker type paper and use an empty drink container as a sample. Photograph it and present the photos and the flat image as part of your portfolio.

Do this: Put the bottom pic as a background to the can mockup showcasing the front of the can. ;)

i loved it until I saw it on the can. Not sure is it the cardboard box effect as I personally feel it belongs on a different product? I am the only one?
