Feedback (constructive criticism) My Exams near & my Writing speed is slow. Help.
Hi, My exams, which are all based on writing so much information in a short amount of time, are near and lie my current word writing speed is 20 words per min but if I need to score good in these I'll need at least 35-40 words per min. How can I solve this issue in 15 days?

I'll admit, it's totally illegible, but I must say it feels melodramatic af. An okay example of normal handwriting as well for reference

Question (not for transcriptions) My handwriting with left(dominant) vs right hand
It was such a struggle to write with right hand . Can't even hold the pen properly.
Is there a way to improve my right hand writing ?

Feedback (constructive criticism) Is there any way to get my handwriting this nice
I saw this post on Twitter this cursive is gorgeous. My regular handwriting and cursive is pretty sloppy (I hold my pencil to tight I’m unsure how to stop that)

Feedback (constructive criticism) I finally realized my mistake
I wrote the word “liabilities” and realized it was pretty nice-looking due to the accidentally increased slant. And as you can see, the rest of the page is drastically improved.
This is my fourth month learning cursive. All this time, I was making one crucial mistake—trying to do cursive in a “printing style” with almost upright letters. It was a subliminal mental block, but that’s over now . . . (MWAHAHA I’m unstoppable)
I’m fully committed now to the dark side of aesthetic but illegible cursive. Yet my conversion is not yet complete.
Some problem areas are:
Sloppy s, especially at the end of words. Lowercase s has always been an issue. Looks like an i and the slant is all off.
Inconsistent angle. I hear it’s supposed to be 55 degrees, or something?
Terrible capitals. Capital B, D, F, L, O, Q, W, X are must-avoids. I genuinely do not understand how to do those well (the end goal is to write like Tim Matlack from the Declaration of Independence but it’s very tough)
u. Oftentimes I’ll skip the connection and mash the u and following letter (especially n) together. Ugh 😑
Words floating off the line in places . . .
lowercase x. Dumb letter anyway though
Any tips to make this script even more aesthetic yet unreadable?

Just Sharing (no feedback) A year ago I started learning cursive
I had no reason for wanting to learn other than it’s cool, I had zero prior knowledge of cursive. Now I get to write cute notes for my girlfriend :)

Feedback (constructive criticism) Is it legible at least?
I hope it's at least legible. We had to learn handwriting in school. But it's been a minute.

Feedback (constructive criticism) Been struggling with awful handwriting.
So as the title says, my handwriting is just really bad. I’ve been struggling with this since forever and it’s at a point where I sometimes am ashamed to write somewhere others could see. Worst part about it is that I work as an office cop and while most stuff is digital nowadays, there’s times when I have to take field notes/fill forms using manual writing. I am 25 for reference.

Feedback (constructive criticism) Thoughts on my handwriting?
Sorry about the smudging (i’m lefthanded lol). I’ve been told a surprising amount of times that I have really nice handwriting, but I always thought my handwriting was pretty sloppy so I decided to post here and get some opinions. I started cursive writing only recently so a lot of my letters are pretty similar and it’s over all just not great, so i’d love to get some tips on that as well. As you can probably see, since I don’t write in cursive much I also haven’t fully figured out how I want to write or personalize certain capital letters, so if you guys have any suggestions for nice looking, easy to write capital cursive letters that would also be appreciated :)

Question (not for transcriptions) What is happening to Cursive and pens?
Since I joined this subreddit I've seen and learned lots of things that are not just about fancy and pretty handwritings. Indeed, through comments I learned that some people never used a ballpoint pen, a mechanical pencil or a fountain pen, some people never learned how to write in cursive... That shocks me so much.
I mean, I am 32 (so born in early 90s) and I know cursive like any other person around me (and I am not from a fancy-schmancy family or something).
My mother is Romanian she was born in 1971 and knows both cursive and.... Uhh.... The other way to write than cursive (can't remember 😆). She also knows how to write and read in Russian (both different ways). She writes the same with ballpoint pen, pencils or fountain pen.
My father is french, he was born in 1969 knows how to write cursive and tends to write in italics, that's how they learned at school.
My siblings are younger than me (1996 and 2005) and they both learned how to write in cursive like me. I seem to be the only one that writes in a yolo way in the family lol I can write with any kind of pen/pencil.... But I really like my black ballpoints that are lying all over the house and I love the maths calculus paper 😂
But now it gets me very curious about people around the world and younger people (that were born after 2005) because they don't seem to always know how to write in a way I thought everyone knew.
How do YOU write?

These are the tironian nota and ligatures I try to use as often as I can in my handwriting. “And” sees the most use because it is easier to remember than most of the others.

I try to write slow, especially on forms, but casual writing (notes and such), I always go quicker. As typical, I can read it, but others have issues. Any tips for... I dunno, how to make myself write slower all the time?
