You don't mess with the Creature Union of Might and Magic

The “Moral” is watching you

If we could take morale hits in order to pick up extra stuff, I think that would be a pretty cool mechanic.

Haha, great one.

There is another great one I can't find where they are super tired, but they have 7 more heroes to be transferred to. And then finally they are like 'let's call it a day and get some rest' and they get transferred over to Orrin and he's like 'LET'S SIEGE THIS CASTLE!"

It would be interesting to have Heroes 3 logistics chain nightmare version, where taking the resource doesn't automatically mean you have it the same moment across all map. It just is transported by a weakly defended caravan towards the nearest castle and then from that castle it has to reach another one in a similar fashion, if you want to build there. Intercepting caravan would allow to grab say 1/3 of its loot. Only limited amount of gold for the purchases on the map could be carried by individual Heroes, except for those who have a Logistics skill, as they could carry some of the gathered resources too.

Have you ever spent an entire day non-stop marching? Now imagine doing this ironclad across mud and dirt. Now imagine your horse-glued boss telling you to move your ass 'tiny bit more' at the very end of the day, for something you don't understand worth of/do not benefit directly from (he wants some fucking logs).

Skeletons out there are like

"Do we get ready for a fight?"

"No, they are done for today."

And yet, remarkably, had these guys managed to plod just five more steps and pick up these logs, they would have instantly become available to the town half a continent away where the mayor was waiting to build a Mage Guild.

Your shift will never end if the player is making a good chain :)
