Seems like they have made noticeable improvements on the visuals front, definitely feels much less like a "mobile game" compared to the early footage

Good news!

Looks pretty good. Cautiously optimistic still.

Looks awesome, but it’s all about the feeling of gameplay here. It can go either way

I'm worried about all the AoE style attacks and effects. It looks like individual monsters have a bunch of different AoE abilities, which will be a big change in tactics compared to HoMM3.

I think the only problem now can be balance but since they know who they are working with, all they need is feedback now. If balance will be good, if the gameplay will be truly good. It can be huge!

Will it ship before bankruptcy?

I am sure 😂

This is the game i’ll be buying the moment it’s early access released. Readable graphics on the map, attention to faction playstyle and design, nice portraits, attention to lore (for the people who know the lore, not me). Can’t ask for much more

You still shouldn't buy on hype. Wait a few weeks for good information to be out to be sure that what you get is actually worth your money.

If you're not one of the people who know the lore, then how do you know if attention was paid to it? xD

because they have lore sections of the devblogs and have chosen to put certain creatures in the game as opposed to others due to the canon. if you can prove them wrong then be my guest, but devs usually don't bring up lore just to lie about paying attention to it

I haven’t been keeping up with the progress, but seeing that it is set in Jadame is exciting!

Not gonna lie, I am very excited about this game, lets just hope Ubisoft doesn't screw it up completely before sinking to the depths of hell

All I know is that there won't be a chat function in the game which saddens me throughly

I miss the charm of HoMM3 to be honest.

You can always just go back to heroes 3 I appreaciate myself the novelty of olden era

Hota is still probably one of my favorite games ever but playing against ai gets boring soon, and if the gameplay will be done great with Olden Era I hope it can be even better!

Never before seen continent? I played MM8 for years, if's set in Jadame. Then again, this could and probably will be very different to whatever was in 8...

Idk what they meant 😅

They mean never before seen for HoMM. Most HoMM fans did not play M&M.

Which is sad, because one of the fun things of the series was how they intertwined.

Graphical style ain't for me in this but might give it a go if it gets good words

Can I get some context. Homm3/hota veteran. Is this new game? First time saw this.

Is this Ubisoft?, I don't trust them.

1

u/Le0s1n 16d ago

Yes it is a new game. Ubi is just the publisher, not the dev, and they used to publish a lot of older hmm games too

1

u/Difficult-Awareness6 16d ago

Thanks man, I know they publish a lot of homm games , wish they didn't.

Hope they made it right, but I'm sceptical if they are included, they disappointed me so many times.

Anyway I'm glad they are still trying and publishing these kinds of games.

Ubisoft in the past had a great eye for talent in terms of publishing someone’s games. Doesn’t look like they are taking any part in development.

What they need to do is wrap homm3 into UE and create a few new campaigns.

infantile mobile shit flick ...

1

u/Mellodyz 21d ago

Is this Heroes3 upgraded version or a complete different game?

2

u/TheTitan99 21d ago

Completely different game.
